Fire Protection

This safe includes 30 minutes fire protection, tested to EN15659 LFS 30P standard, to ensure that important paperwork is not damaged in the event of a fire. The fire endurance test, completed by ECB-S, exposes the safe to furnace temperatures over a period of time to measure the internal temperature. The double walled steel door is filled with fire resistant barrier material and ensures a low internal temperature for up to 30 minutes.

Tested and Certified

Certification plates inside a safe is proof that you are buying an independently tested and certified product by ECB-S which is recognised as Police Preferred (Secured by Design) and covered by insurers (Association of Insurance Surveyors).

Installation

This Aver Grade 0 safe is designed to be installed the floor with one pre-drilled fixing hole in the base. It is strongly recommended that the safe is installed to a solid concrete surface for the most secure fix. A fixing kit is supplied, comprising of one masonry 12mm diameter, 150m long fixing bolt. Installation can be completed on a DIY basis or installation can be purchased with the safe.

High Security Locking Bolts

The door is secured by three-way large 23mm steel locking bolts which are operated by the safes handle when the safe has been unlocked and when locking the safe. This safe includes locking bolts on the top, side and bottom of the door which ensure the door remains in place if the external door hinges are sheared off during a burglary attempt.

High Security Keypad Locking

This safe is secured by an electronic keypad which is certified to VdS Class 1 and EN1300 Class A. The keypad is powered by a 9v battery and has the facility to set your own six digit user code and also has a time delay feature from 1-99 minutes.
