How deep do the holes need to be for fixing and are typical London walls deep enough (Clapham based family house). Fixing on the floor is not an option unfortunately as I have underfloor heating. Are there any heavier ones other than the 75e that can be fixed to the back? In general, should I be more nervous about somebody extracting the safe or cracking it open in the GBP 1,000 range?

Dependant on what cash rating you are looking for the chubbsafes earth 75E is 92kg in weight this would be ideal for a domestic home as long as it has been installed correctly. The length of the installation bolts are 75mm.
