If this safe is in a fire, although the contents will be safe, presumably the electronic key pad will be destroyed. Obviously without details, how does one then retrieve the contents?
David Gee, Winchester
The safe would have to be forced open to retrieve any valuables. This could be done by a qualified locksmith who would have the required equipment.

Can I fix the 15E to the brick wall? I don't want to fit it to a wooden floor. Thanks.
Robert Sawyer, OAKHAM
The Chubbsafes Executive 15E is not suitable to be anchored to a brick wall. However, we have many other safes with wall fixings.
