I assume the safe has got pre-drilled holes for fixing to the wall and/or floor, also are there any plastic dummies that will close the holes from inside if I want this free standing?

This safe has pre-drilled holes to both back and base but also comes with plastic plugs, which would cover up the holes if you did want it free standing.
Can you please tell me how I could open the safe if the motorised locking mechanism fails as I believe this model does not come with backup keys?
Matt
There is no mechanical override for this safe unfortunately. The safe comes with an external battery contact, so a 9V battery can be attached to open the safe in case of power failure.
