You will need to replace your cylinder with the correct profile and matching length but the security level, which is partly indicated by the amount of pins included, can be any. We recommend getting higher than 5 pins for an external door.

Your existing cylinder would have to be from the CISA Astral S 10 Pin Euro Cylinder Series. Each cylinder includes a code card allowing you to purchase additional keys or locks by simply providing the code to your existing lock.

If you order two cylinders Keyed Alike they would be supplied with 3 keys in total, as both cylinders are operated by the same keys. You would need to order spare keys (57) to make up the total you require. The code card allows you to order additional cylinders or keys on the same lock/key number as those you have already by quoting the relevant code.

You could still operate the lock and open the door from the outside with the key regardless of the thumb turn having been used on the inside.

If you order these as keyed to differ you will receive 3 keys per cylinder (15 keys in total). If you order these keyed alike you will receive 3 keys to operate all 5 cylinders.
