Good Alarm, easy enough to Install. Setup didn't work properly with my phone, but I used another phone and it set up fine. It operates well on my phone now. Good Helpline that helped me get through these small glitches. Now that it is set up, I am happy with it, easy to set and switch off with the fobs. Got a camera as well, it operates independent to the alarm. It is not infra red so doesn't see in the dark, this is something ERA should update as infra red cameras are widely available for a similar price.

Really pleased with this alarm. The positives: All of the components are totally wireless (apart from the hub which is connected to mains power) so extremely easy to fit sensors and alarm units where required. The external alarm unit is solar powered but works on ambient light and doesn't need direct sunlight. The hub itself connects to the broadband hub via Wi-Fi so no need for LAN cable. The sensors work over a large range (up to 80m) so we have PIR and door sensors for the external garage which is 30m distance and several walls away from the hub. The PIR sensors are great and not triggered by small pets. The App on the phone is great too. You are alerted when the alarm is triggered and can arm/disarm when away from home if you forget. (You can also add a sim card to the hub using mobile phone network instead of WiFi but we have not done this). You can also add other components like cctv.

The negatives: There are tamper switches on the sensors and alarm units so the alarm does get triggered a few times when fitting the system (just mention it to you neighbours in advance and consider ear plugs!). The max sensor range is 80m but is reduced with walls so we couldn't cover our garden shed reliably at 50m from the house as there are too many walls in between as well. One issue is you can not have a sensor set up for "home zone" and a "delay" you have to choose one. I would have liked to have had the front and back doors alarmed with the garage when we are at home but as we need a delay on the doors they are not active when we are at home.

Overall I'm really pleased, it works extremely well and would highly recommend it.
