- The EZVIZ Smart Video Doorbell is a video doorbell that sends instant alerts to your Smartphone when the doorbell is pressed. The doorbell includes super HD 3 Megapixel video footage with night vision, so you can see who's at the door, day or night. The built in camera includes motion detection technology which will alert you if somebody is at the property and you can view live high definition footage at any time. You can even hear and talk back via the built in microphone and speaker.
The Ezviz DB1 Video Doorbell connects to your home broadband via Wi-Fi and can communicate with an unlimited amount of smart devices with the Ezviz app installed*. The doorbell is designed be hard wired or connected to your existing doorbell wiring.
Remote Viewing by SmartPhone
It is easy to view recorded and real time images from your SmartPhone using the Ezviz app* (available for iOS, Android and Windows) providing your Ezviz DB1 Video Doorbell is connected to your internet router via Wi-Fi.
Video
The integrated camera allows you to view super high definition 3 Megapixel footage so that you can see who's at the door. You can view live footage at anytime via the Ezviz app and the camera includes motion detection technology which alerts you when movement is detected. The camera also includes LED night vision video from up to 5 meters away providing crystal clear footage any time of day.
Video Backup
You will receive a 30 day free trial of encrypted cloud storage which allows you to view recorded footage. A subscription is available for further access with monthly or yearly subscription plans. The doorbell also include an SD card slot (Max 128GB) so that you can record directly to the camera.
Recording Resolution
The resolution indicates the size of image that is captured by the camera, the larger the image the clearer the image will appear. Higher resolution cameras are ideal when viewing footage on a large TV screen. Lower resolution cameras are perfect for viewing high definition video on your smartphone or tablet.
Power
The DB1 Video Doorbell must be hardwired in to your existing doorbell power supply, providing continuous power supply without having to charge a battery. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician for your safety and protection.

The Ezviz DB1 doorbell is in my opinion the best on the market, this is the second Ezviz DB1 I’ve bought from Safe.co.uk in the past few months as I bought one for myself and found it so good I bought one for my son.
The great thing about the DB1 is you can install a micro memory card and this will record all activity the DB1 picks up, it let you know if someone is close to your door and when the bell is rung you can speak to the person when your not at home.
The system is reliable and no subscriptions are Needed to the Cloud for storage.
The service from Safe.co.uk is fantastic because on both occasions when I’ve ordered I’ve had my DB1 securely delivered within a couple of days and I’ll certainly be buy from them again in the future

I bought this purely on price alone compared to the Ring equivalent, I have to say that in comparison it's a gem so good in fact that I have also purchased two cameras to go with it, build quality is excellent and ease of use superb, so easy to fit and also add a SD card for recording there is a cloud recording option which is fee based and free for a few days, the video is stable and clear night vision is excellent and with the app loaded it is available anywhere in the world with a mobile signal wholly reccomended.

I bought this because I wanted a doorbell/camera that provided ONVIF feed to record video on my Synology NAS. While this took some effort to setup, (for ONVIF you need different firmware) thankfully there was great help at;

I now use the Ezviz app to answer the doorbell, and record all footage triggered by the DB1 motion detection to my synology NAS.
Overall the DB1 is a great doorbell camera with a solid quality feel. The picture quality is amazing and the sound quality is solid. Physical installation is straight forward if you are a competent DIY'er, though make sure you read up on the doorbell and transformer compatibility list on the Ezviz website.
I originaly bought a Ring Pro, but replaced it with this due to privacy concerns, and I think this is a much better product.
