Can this safe be wall fixed? If not can you recommend safe with same level of security that can.
Alan, Bristol
Unfortunately the phoenix fortress 1183E is only suitable for floor fixing. However I can recommend the Burton Eurovault Aver S2 4E as this is suitable for both base/wall fixing.

Re Phoenix Fortress. It says they have bolts for floor fitting. I'd like to know, if I fix these to the floor, can I remove the bolts again e.g. were I to move house and want to take the safe with me?
Miles
Yes, providing the safe is open and you can access the bolts it is just a case of unscrewing the bolts.

How many bolt holes are in the rear for fixing?
Anonymous
There are no pre-drilled holes in the back of this unit, it is designed for base fixing only with 2 pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the unit.

Is there any reason why this safe couldn't be mounted on its back to use the bottom fixing bolts into a wall?
Chris, Watford
The safe may work fine in this position, however the locks are balanced. We would always advise the safes be positioned as displayed in the image.
