This is a very good product and I found it easy to install ,the installation manual was very instructive with clear and precise pictures.I did find the programming slightly difficult at first but this was mainly down to me but adding tags/cards became very easy.I liked the part where you can name family members to the tag list ( 2 ) and they can download tag from the email sent.I was not happy a first with the battery holder kept falling out when installing them but have renewed them since as the warning sound alerts you with a beep as per manual and was not difficult to install. We have had very good comments from friends and visitors on the lock which was explained to the workings of.

Bought this to aid my elderly mother as she likes to know her front door is secure but last year she had a fall and had to call emergency services .... they in turn had to break the coloured glass to get in .... she was ok just didn’t have the strength to get up ....

I bought this lock along with the key fob module so she can unlock the door by the key fob if it ever happens again as to replace the glass was three times the price of the lock

The lock is of high quality material the only let down was one of the screws snapped while fitting SO DONT OVER TIGHT I managed to rescue the situation apart from that it was very easy to install even with somebody with basic skills

To lock the door you have to lift the handle you can’t lock it with the fob but on the other hand if you accidentally unlock the door and if nobody pushes down on the handle after 30 seconds it locks itself.... nice feature ! But if you do use the handle it’s open till you lift the handle once again

Overall I’m very happy with this product and the way I have it set up

Remember you can buy other modules to tailor it to the way you want it wether it’s unlock the door from anywhere or if you have a Yale alarm system fitted it will turn the alarm off when you unlock the door.

A very well made product, solid and heavy duty which I would anticipate lasting well and staying good looking but only time will tell. It is very easy to use by opening the lock from outside by fob, card or phone app although I would prefer there to be a backup key cylinder such as in Yale's previous, but now discontinued, smart lock product. From the inside then a simple push and turn on the thumb turn knob locks or unlocks the door. Easy to fit although you need to be careful with positioning the wires on the inside correctly before screwing up tight else you can damage them beyond repair. I would also advise in keeping your old handles and cylinder in case you ever want/need to revert back. Overall though with very few other product options available it's a reasonable product choice for someone who wants "smart" features in their door security.
