Excellent high quality product. I struggled to find a euro cylinder thumbturn with 40 - 45 dimensions but was very pleased to find this product that met my needs. You can see from the machining quality that this is a well made product. I would recommend this cylinder lock.

Our door seemed to have funny lock dimensions so it was great to find that Caveo not only did a 3 star lock but it would fit our door, couldn't believe certain well known brands didn't! Having extra keys cut for it was very reasonable too, and although we had to wait a little bit longer for it to arrive it was well worth it. Fitting was very simple and know we have the peace of mind knowing that we're safe and secure for a very reasonable cost. Can't say enough good things about the lock and the service from 'Safe'.

Good quality, and easy to install. Quick shipping and very simple. I couldn't have asked for anything different. Videos online made it very easy to install and the whole process only took me about 15 minutes. Only point that I would raise is that the key has to be horizontal to be removed from the keyhole.

They came on time, my only problem was with my customer getting access as she went away for 3 weeks before I was able to fit them.

After I fitted them she asked for Extra Keys to the one lock but that was not a problem I just call your office gave the Key code and 3 days later I had the extra Keys

Did what it said on the tin - delivered (very) promptly with the required number of extra keys - very easy and simple to fit. Took a while to get used to the horizontal key "slot" but otherwise absolutely no issues at all. Would definitely use them again if I have more locks to replace.

Fantastic quality product. I found it very easy to fit, and the website guidance on getting the correct size was easy to follow. Product arrived quickly and takes less than 5 minutes to fit.

Very simple replacement of a basic lock. Took five minutes and now I have reassurance that the door is fitted with a top quality lock. Build quality appears to be just as good as those costing considerably more. Safe's prices were good and the delivery was quick, so five stars to them too.

I had lost the keys to my conservatory door and I decided to drill out the lock. But before I did that, I had to source a new lock. Rather than replace with a standard lock, I looked for a 3 Star version for added security. Safe.co.uk were selling CAVEO at a good price, so that was my choice. No regrets, the replacement was fitted within minutes and I can use my conservatory again!

Purchased 3No sets of CAVEO 3 Star - Euro Double Cylinder 50 - 45 (95mm Nickel Plated) for patio doors? The locks look high quality, very robust and have the BS standard. Replacing the existing old locks with these Caveo units was very easy and they fitted perfectly.The keys are also substantial and the plastic end to the key makes it easy to use and has a nice feel. Overall very pleased and would buy again.

I had been looking for this replacement for some time. Most suppliers could not offer the exact size required. This is mechanism is correct and works perfectly.

This lock feels and looks quality the minute you take it out the box.

Fitted in minutes and the smooth locking action works perfectly. Measurements exactly as described for a nice flush fit either side of the door. Extremely happy with my purchase and has been installed now for over two months with faultless service to the most used door we have.

I given all categories five stars, the keys fits in and turns easily ✔️ Build quality so far so good, but time will tell ✔️ Removing old lock, remove one screw fit the key and a quarter turn and it’s out. Fitting new Caveo lock, fit the key turn to line up the bar, slide in the new lock till the screw hole aligns, fit the new screw provided simple as that ✔️. Security 3 star rated, but hopefully I’ll never find out ✔️

The Double off set cylinder arrived quickly . It was extremely easy to replace the old none working cylinder. No problems at all would thoroughly recommend the Product and SAFE . I particularly liked the keys being kind of non standard type and probably difficult to copy and the Blue colour makes them easy to locate among other keys .

Looks a quality item, however on occasions you have to turn the lock 4 times for it to lock?, occasionally feels like it’s binding on use, this is only from the key side, the thumb turn seems fine, expected better from an expensive lock, fits well into cavity, no issues there

Well built and very easy fit.

Really really impressed. I was replacing what were pretty good locks in Munster Joinery doors.

The thumbturn is brilliant, the ease of not having to run for a key is worth it. The benefit though in what I've seen is also in reduced draughts coming though the old locks. I've a new build, all sealed up and could find the old locks actually allowed a draught straight in, well no longer with these in place! 10/10

This is a very Good quality lock. It was Easy to fit. Delivered quickly with extra keys at a reasonable price.

Have used this company before and they are very efficient in despatching and delivering the lock in pretty quick time particularly considering extra keys were required.

Pleased with the Euro half cylinder lock. I like the plastic end to the key which makes it- much easier to pick up than a flat key. The key shaft is about 20mm too long and therefore not easy to see when it is fully inserted into the barrel. To overcome this I painted the part of the shaft that stays outside of the barrel so that I can see in an instant when the key is fully inserted.

A good, well made product overall. The one issue I have is that once fitted, the small allen key bolt holding the knob on the spline came loose, and I had to sort that out as the knob just rotated. So, for a brand new product not so great!

On opening the packing I was immediately impressed with the build quality and finish. It got even better when I found that it fitted perfectly and very easily into the lock. Good product, great service. It was tight to fit but i guess this helps with the security overall. The build quality looks and feels great and the key profile means it is not easy to copy and i would certainly recommend this product along with the company to others to use.

I purchased one of these locks as a test to check on quality, supply, ease of fitting and use. All proved very good and ordered five more keyed alike to the first one. Some sizes were on back order but I was kept informed on progress and they arrived and four were fitted with no problem. One had a keying issue on one side and this was promptly replaced and FedEx arrived to collect the faulty item. Good service overall and a quality product which I can recommend based on my experience. One tip: consider the thumb-turn versions, makes things a lot easier instead of using the key internally, and provides rapid egress in case of an emergency.

This is the third CAVEO 3 Star lock I have purchased from SAFE, all to replace the locks in my Asgard bike lockers. These were much cheaper (£18) than buying from Asgard (£28), and appear to be higher security. Fitment is very straightforward. I would highly recommend these locks to anyone with a similar requirement.

Had an 30 year old lock and realised I could get a real and quite cheap upgrade to security. Went for the horizonal modern lock. It was easy to work out the right one to get. Was delivered quickly and was amazingly easily to fit, and I'm no DIY guy.

I bought the lock to replace one which was stiff to use. The process of changing the locks over was easy, just one screw to remove. The Caveo lock is a good fit for the door (the dimensions on the box are actually accurate) unlike the old lock and the action is a lot smoother. I am please with the Caveo lock and think it is good value for money.

Build quality and components are solid. Keys are good quality.

Key hole entry on the lock is not smooth. Entry catches and friction on hole. Takes fee tries to insert key.

Turning motion is fine.

Thumb turn is smooth and easy.

These are great locks. Just a few minutes to install. Very easy to use with bidirectional functionality. Had them a while with no issues.

Only 2 points to consider. The lock will not work if there is a key left in the other side, will not lock, I'm not sure if they will unlock if there is a key on the other side. I also dislike the actual keys, they come with a plastic head. It makes them bulkier than needed, and I cannot find any alternatives. I wear one around my neck on a chain as a backup and I'd just like something I could change into a minimalist shaft.
