Great service by “safe”. The lock was very easy to fit and good quality. Delivery was prompt. All instructions to measure the correct lock was clear and concise. I would certainly use “Safe “ again. Marvelous. I moved into a new build block of flats and was given 1 key for the flat.... Where were the others?

I swapped my lock for this new one. There are 2 other "Holiday" flats on this floor. So I asked the neighbours if I could put my olddoor lock on a communal cupboard on our floor and get some extra keys cut for them.

A few days later I spotted some workmen in the cupboard fitting fire barrier.

The workmen had used a key to unlock the cupboard (neither of my neighbours were home) so they would have had a key to get into my flat.

I'm glad I changed it and this key gives me peace of mind as they are harder to pick. I got an extra 3 cut as well.

The lock fits OK but from the outside the key turn action is not as smooth as it should be. Seems to be a little resistance in turning within the barrel. As a result I do not recommend this brand of lock. Lubricating internally with graphite powder had no affect.

The information given on the website gave instructions on how to remove the current cylinder and how to correctly measure the replacement cylinder. The existing cylinder protruded at the outside of the door and was probably a security risk. The new cylinder fitted flush with the face of the door. It was easy to fit and it certainly appears to be a high quality product. I am sure that the security of the door is much improved and the price was very good.

Excellent product. Delivered quickly with extra keys. MUCH better security. Overall highly recommended. As this lock does not protrude from the outside door it cannot be snapped off. Also insurance companies prefer this type. Simply to fit with just a screw to remove but make sure you get the correct size to ensure a perfect fit.
