Pros: The Brabantia mail box is sturdy and well finished. The white paint looks stylish and has a nice solid look to it. The box hangs well on the wall, the letter opening is a good size to take magazines and packets, and it looks tidy and smart. Cons: We have not had any problems with the Brabantia mail box.

A mail box was required to ensure the safety of our mail and at the same time be easy to use and to keep the mail dry. This unit meets all of the above requirements. It was easy to install and looks good in our porch. So far we have not encounted any problems and seems to be performing as we expected. the price was economical and it looks as if it will give value for money service

This type of mail box looks neat and tidy and being white matches the pained exterior walls. This item is very much recommended and should satisfy those who had similar needs to ourselves

Pros: Unfussy design. It means that I no longer have post sticking out my door. Cons: The lock is a bit 'rough'. I marked it only fair for security because one can reach in and pick out large letters without having to open the box.

The brabantia post box is both sturdy in construction and also visually attractive. The letter box is very easily fixed to the wall. The box opening ( width and height) is sufficient for both standard and large letters and the key operated door provides gives adequate security.

Excellent product. Postman finds it very easy to use. Looks very smart on the wall.

On having a new insulated porch built I wanted an external post box to prevent drafts. The local postman asked that it be high capacity and top opening. This post box is an ideal fit. The colour choice allows it to match the door. The width of the top opening allows the easy insertion of the magazines and periodicals I have regularly delivered. It seems weatherproof to the worst the weather can throw at it and not a drop of water has entered during the recent thunderstorms. For its size, shape, capacity and quality it represents good value for money.

Bit pricey compared to other post boxes but well built and looks good. Postman likes it and it easily copes with a week's worth of post if needed. Only downside was the short length of the screw fittings provided. Much longer ones ( which I had to purchase) are needed if you are mounting this box on a brick wall.

Does the job, pretty good build quality, although you'd expect it to be for the price! Easy to mount, even on our knobbly rendered walls, but we used our own screws as the ones it comes with are a bit short for screwing into an exterior brick/render wall and not great quality. Comes with 2 keys, ideally one more would be useful (one each plus a spare...) but not a major problem. Also, it would be great if it came in more colours (e.g. cream) rather than stark white, but again, not a big drama. All in all, we're happy with it, its does what its meant to do and is unobtrusive.

Looks good, easy to use but the post is always damp!
