As the Siren is solar powered, as long as it has access to daylight the battery would constantly charge and store enough energy in one days charge to power it for a whole week. The estimated battery life would be 3-5 years in total.

Yes, both systems have this mode just as an anti tamper mechanism. However the ERA Homeguard has a sim card option, so if the WiFi connections drops, you would still be notified.

The anti tamper feature can be deactivated in the app menu under the My Hub settings. A loss of internet connection would not trigger the alarm.

This system will allow a second ERA Solar Powered Siren to be linked as an accessory.

This system will alert you that the wifi or the power has gone down providing you have a sim card inserted into the HUB to send you a notification.

Unless the alarm has a sim card facility, for example the ERA HomeGuard Smart Alarm Pro - Junior Kit, you would not be contacted without a WiFi connection. The Sim card feature can also be used to reset the alarm at any time.

The alarm system would contact you via WiFi, however if your internet connectivity experienced problems the Sim card would only be used in emergency's to contact you so you do not need to top it up per month. You can always check the balance of your sim card by calling your provider.

The Homeguard series is compatible with all ERA accessories.

Any standard sized SIM would be suitable as most networks function using 2G, 3G or 4G. The only exception is Three network as they do not operate lower than 3G.

The range of this system is 80 metres.

Once the components are paired with the hub they would not unlearn by changing WiFi.

Any standard pay as you go sim (excluding the network Three) would be fine to use.

Any of the Lightwave sockets can be used however I would recommend the Lightwave RF-2 which is the most recent model.

You can Arm/Disarm the alarm remotely using the app.

Any 2G Sim card would be fine to use for example O2, as Three work on a 3G sim card this is the reason it is not compatible.

The app, key fob or the keypad can all be used to arm/dis-arm the alarm.

You can connect up to 50 components to the HomeGaurd alarms and you can add an additional solar powered siren and keypad if required.

These systems are classed as DIY alarms and are not compliant to EN-50131-5-3 rating.

This system does have a time delay which can be preset up to 30 seconds.

The ERA models are unsuitable for roaming Sim Cards (M2M), a standard conventional UK sim (excluding the network three) would give you the best results.

The ERA Garrison includes GSM alerts only and needs a sim card to send any notification. The ERA Homeguard includes be sim card slot and is WiFi enabled.

This system can be used with a sim card which will send you text alerts once the alarm is triggered. This requires a classic sim card suitable for all phone networks excluding the 3 network.

The alarm would still siren as it features an internal battery and also option for a sim card, so you can even be contacted without any internet connectivity.

Unfortunately we do not sell a mains powered siren for this system.

This system is compatible with both ERA wired and wireless sirens. The LED on the wireless alarm will only strobe when the alarm is armed / activated.

This alarm is not currently compatible with Amazon Echo but future product updates will likely allow integration with this type of home system.

The manufacturer recommends that standard non-rechargeable batteries are used with all alarm accessories.
