The lock was easy to fit and operates smoothly. The security is reasonable for an indoor lock. The dead bolt aspect works fine, but the 'catch bolt' has stuck in to the lock and no longer extends when the door is opened (this happened when the lock was fitted; it is not something that emerged over time). This is not a critical issue because the bolt still locks the door, but this is disappointing in a Legge product.

The original Legge bathroom lock was still working ok after 30 years, just needed to be replaced as it had tarnished. Identical size, easy to swap over, great value for money.
