Legge 3722 - Tubular Latch (79mm)
Quality Legge product to finally properly replace a second failed cheap 99p 'equivalent'. Both failed after about a years use, false economy. Each failure resulted in being unable to open the door and being stuck in room when the rotary cam shattered in normal use. Very inconvenient!
Unfortunately the size was slightly different and door needed adjustment, so not the straight swap I had hoped for.
Will now upgrade every door to Legge latches as a winter project when the evenings draw in.
The service from SAFE was professional and quick, and their web site easy to navigate. I also appreciated being able to use PayPal checkout, which is convenient, saves a lot of typing in, and keeps my financial details on as few databases as possible.

So pleased to get a door latch to replace my old one of some 30 years old. I was so pleased to find that Legge still made the same one to the exact imperial meaurements. Will always seek out Legge for future buys.

When your door is drilled with a 60mm Backset and every other Tubular Latch on the market are made with a 57mm Backset. You're happy to pay twice the price of the others and keep your door!

Needed to replace two broken latches. Original purchase proved to be incorrect size. Took some time to find these but they proved an excellent fit so no door modifications required. They appear to be well made and are working fine. Easy to order and delivered as promised. Need one more so just ordered another.

Absolutely brilliant item, well constructed and manufactured, fits perfectly and works, in this day and age that is often something which is rarely heard. I was really pleased with how well this latch was produced and a big thank you to the manufacturers for keeping such high standards. The measurements given regarding the latch are accurate and the quality of the brass and steel are high. I would recommend this particular latch to anyone as something that will last! Thank you for producing such a high quality product, it really makes a change in this day and age to find something that will last and is not classed as a throw away item.
