I had several similar mortice latches from screw fix about 3years ago

One felt a bit notchey so I removed it to inspect,I found the internals had disintegrated so I decided to change them all

Looking online for good quality replacements i decided on the Union latch from safe

Unfortunately when they were delivered they were not made of the same internals as described and photographed on the web site,they were poor quality and overpriced.

No,I am not able to give a good 👎review, the service seemed ok but in the end I have ended up with mortice locks that i am not happy with

The backset measurement is taken from the front edge of the forend to the centre of the follower (square hole).

Is the union 2648 tubular latch 91mm bright zinc fire rated EN-1634-1 use on 60 minute doors?
