Union Essential - Tubular Latch (64mm)

Bought as a replacement for a cheap knackered tubular latch that broke in situ and locked the door closed!

Union Tubular Latch arrived promptly and does not dissapoint. First impressions are good after easy replacement of previous failed latch that came with the house. Fitting was easy, a direct no hassle replacement and works smoothly and well. No problems at all, so far.

Some components appear to be manufactured from a hard plastic, but as long as the Latch works and does its work, I have no problems with its construction. Fit and finish are excellent for the price. Great service, thanks!

It took me time to find the correct latch to replace my old one but yours has done the job with a minimum of fuss.

Screwfix or Toolstation couldn't supply this size of latch, so i was very gratefull in finding this site

I couldn't find this type of lock locally and wanted 4 of them. They are for indoor use on interior doors and have a plastic catch. This type of catch is very quiet as well as being easy to fit and arrived well in time. I would use again when necessary.

I ordered this Union Essential - tubular latch to replace a stiff and noisy older model. I had to modify the door bore hole depth which was really easy, after that, the installation was simple and hassle free. The latch action is smooth and quiet.
