This safe has an entry level insurance rating of £1,000, meaning that it will deter the opportunist thief. The hinges of the safe are concealed on the inside and there are no codes available that will override your own personal code that you have set. There are a back up keys supplied that will override the lock, so you will have to keep those safe - outside of the safe. This safe will definitely provide more of a deterrent than a cash box.

To reset the code on this unit the safe will need to be opened using the existing code or back up key. Press the programme button located on the back of the door and then enter you desired combination on the keypad (3-8 digits) followed by the B button to confirm.
