The wi-fI camera is excellent. Easy to set-up and ensuring that access password is strong. Bought it after reading several reviews on this type of item. Have recently purchased a cottage and it's great having the camera to do a quick check that all ok. The alerting is good and does even alert when the light we have on timer switches on/off.

The quality is excellent (HD)and for the price it is well worth buying

I have other Yale Smart living security items I am very happy with, but this one was a disappointment.

I installed it in my office were I have another Yale Smart living alarm system working perfectly.

First it was the app that let me down massively.

The instructions are poor and the support very disappointing also. I just couldn't pair the camera with my phone via the app/WiFi.

Every person at Yale CS I spoke to, gave me different advice. I felt they were not trained accordingly for a product that's not fully developed.

Once it works, the camera does what it's supposed to do, but the time I wasted was not worth the saving.

I am sure some could get lucky and pair on first try. I wasn't and still have a second camera to go.

I imagine that once they improve the app it will become the product it is intended to be.

I bought this camera following a break in as I wanted to see who was approaching the front door. The set up wasn't particularly straight forward - I have never found Yale instructions to be adequate and I always have to phone up customer services for guidance! In particular when setting up the app on my phone it then suddenly said they would email a pin number that was valid for something like 30 seconds! Needless to say I couldnt get it in time and Yale customer service advised that I had to uninstall the app and install it again (this time whilst logged in to my emails in readiness.)

The plus side is that the quality of the images is very good and gives peace of mind as to who is at the door. The minus side is that it doesn't automatically record images - you have to be watching on your phone and press either a camera symbol to take a picture or press to video the action - which means that if you get notifications on your phone but couldn't look at it at the time, you have no idea what has set it off. I will probably get an alternative camera that records all movement and use this device elsewhere in the house. The build quality is very good and the delivery from Safe.co.uk was very fast.

Absolutely brilliant, does everything it says, the only one thing I would like is to have night vision mode. So easy to install and to use, very good value for money. I bought two, one to cover the front of my house, and one to cover the back garden of my house. I like the way wherever you are you can click on the app and keep an eye on your property. Fantastic value for money, I would recommend this to anyone looking for home Security. But one and try for yourself, I've told my parent's to get one too.
