This product arrived quickly and securely packaged. When we opened it, there were 3 keys with it. The barrel itself looked and felt like it was constructed from good quality materials.

This product was so easy to install and literally took myself a few minutes. It comes with a key code which you need to have extra copies made, this gives you the peace of mind that you need to feel safe and secure in your own home.

I had a couple of spare keys made using the code and it was very simple. Great product and fantastic service. I would highly recommend this and the company.

Well constructed product with good security features. This was easy to fit and dimensions were as described. The small key way means this isn't the easiest lock to get the key lined up with, so loses a couple of stars for ease of use, but a bit of practice and it's becoming easier everyday as I get used to it.

Well finished and robust,fairly standard keys so not too expensive for copies.

Overall a high quality kite marked lock, complying with home insurance regs etc. Nice and easy to fit, looks good and I am confident that it has improved the security of my home. The only flaw is the keys can be a little fiddly to get into the lock, you definitely need to be able to see what your doing and can't just feel it in but other than that I'm very happy with it.

I bought 2 of these, for the front and back door, as they've the highest security rating, of 3 stars. Being able to withstand 'snap attacks' in particular. This was our reason for replacing the old locks.

They were easy to fit, operate well and seem well made.

My only criticisms are that the keys are quite large, compared to those of the locks they replaced (maybe this is just a byproduct of the higher security - more pins = longer keys maybe?) and actually inserting the keys in to the lock requires a little more concentration, as the locks themselves don't seem to have the same lead-in as the old ones.

But otherwise happy with the purchase and would recommend.

This Polished Brass Asec Kite Elite Double Cylinder lock fitted perfectly, and works like a charm. The quality of the lock was excellent, very tight with no excess play, and the finish was perfect. No burrs or bare patches. All keys fitted and operated perfectly in either end. The level of security was exactly what was needed, and satisfied the requirements of Police Scotland in resisting various types of attack. I consider that the value for money is very good. The delivery service from Safe Co was very speedy, and the entire transaction very easy and straightforward.

It is all in the ratings I give! They have not been tried out by my neighbourhood burglar yet - as far as I know but I would say that these locks are as good as any.

Really helpful sales person who assisted in selecting the correct product. Lock works perfectly and you could not tell it had been changed. This is an off set lock so recommend you check your existing one before ordering your replacement lock it will save you time in the long run. Great product

First time I have ordered or fitted one of these cylinders. This is a top quality product and very easy to install and has high security and love the internal thumb turn. When I eventually completed the installation the end result was excellent. Don’t be tempted to go for cheaper alternatives.

I brought that as as spare, but I know from experience that they are easy to fit so I've still given it five stars. Safe are a good supplier that I have used before and may well use again. The delivery is prompt and the description are accurate. I would not have a problem recommending them from the service that I have received so far.

Great product and well made. Prefer Asec keys over the Yale 10+ pin versions which are hard to line up and oversized.

Overall purchased 3 sets of locks from Safe having moved house.

I searched around online and choose this Asec Kite Elite from the reviews and security rating, anti snap and anti bump. Fundamental there is only one screw that holds the lock in place, you may have to remove the handle casing depending on your door. Either way easy to fit up.

The build quality is good and given the various videos online of the destructive tests I am confident in this.

Managed to size one of the locks backwards and the team were really nice and happy to swap out for the correct locks.

Arrived quickly and was extremely easy to fit, probably took less than five minutes. Bought for my elderly mother as she had a habit of leaving her key in lock on inside of door. This was a risk in case something happened to her, and the only option to get in would have been to break in.

Two weeks later, as fate would have it she did have a fall and we were able to get in using our spare key due to the new lock being installed. After a short hospital stay, she is safely back in the house. Talk about good timing!

Wanted a lock that would offer resistance to various attack methods at a reasonable price and this fitted the bill without reaching the dizzy prices of other manufacturers.

As there had been some lock snapping burglaries in our neighbourhood recently, I decided to replace my fro t door euro lock with a three star rated version. The local diy stores didnt stock the size I required so after some googling, I found www.safe.co.uk who had the lock in stock and offered next day delivery. Also the price was better than other suppliers I looked at. It's important to measure accurately the existing lock as they do come in various sizes. This can be done with the lock in situ or the lock can easily be removed simply by removing a single fixing screw. The lock arrived next day as expected, landing with a heavy thud behind letter box. Fitting couldn't be easier. Just remove one fixing screw, slide the old lock out, replace with new one, making sure it's the right way round. Replacing the fixing screw completes the job. The lock is supplied with three keys. I tested all three and they operated and closed the lock perfectly. Once fitted, the 'three star' icon is visible on the outside, which should deter burglars as they know they will be unable to snap the lock to gain entry. I would definitely recommend this lock.

Very good quality. Easy to fit and works smoothly. I was surprised at how much more expensive it was than basic cylinders hence the loss of a star.

We bought these locks for our existing PVC doors following police warning of criminal activity in our area. We specifically wanted high security locks that were 'BS kite marked 3 star'. A video on u-tube showed a locksmith testing this lock. He needed considerable time to pass the lock even with it mounted in a vice and using a range of tools. The locks are easily fitted and appear very robust - probably much stronger than the doors we were fitting them in.

If you are like me and called the local window fitters about changing the look on your door and was amazed at the quote. Couple of reasons for this, one is that just changing a look is simple for a large company and in some cases just over price as not worried if the job comes to them or note. Two, the lock is note described in a clear way and most company’s use a set of standard locks and in some cases this does not mean these are the best. So what did I like about Safe.co.uk, simply found it on google with a good description on how to measure and carry out the task yourself. I was able to review each lock and selected the Alec Kite Elite, based on details on the site and then a couple of quick review searches on google. The Asec kite elite euro double cylinder 50-40 (90mm) is a very well made cylinder lock.Itis snap proof and drill proof, criminals would find it extremely difficult if not impossible to get passed this lock. It was extremely easy to fit, just one screw.I now have all my doors fitted with these cylinders and I feel very much safer . The cylinder is made of very strong metal (steel) and is nickel plated to prevent rust I suppose. I can recommend this lock as it is great value for money and is also a top of the range security feature which is so easy to fit but so hard to break.

Overall a very robust lock when turning the key it's nice and smooth witch is testament to the quality of the product I like the standerd key way design instead of the horizontal flat keys 🔑 upon looking from a distance you can't tell it is a high security 3* it's nice and discreet and security wise it comes printed on the packaging all the certifications and the 3* rating they are more on the expensive side compared to other brands side but we'll worth it.

Decided to replace my original door locks to boost security due to the rise in lock snap type offences. Picked this one as it offered the highest level of security. The price is reasonable and well worth the extra few pounds. The quality is excellent, it fits snugly into the door and the keys fit perfectly. The lock functions as it should. It was really easy to fit, I found removing the handles the easiest way to do this but it only takes a few minutes to complete. I measured my old lock and managed to get this almost flush with the handle as my old one sat proud by about 7mm. Overall a great lock to give some peace of mind.

Nice flat key rather than some of the bulky alternatives. A little on the expensive side, but I guess it is a top end product.

Substantial upgraded from the original standard 1* euro cylinder lock. Having the thumbturn is so useful. Item was a breeze to fit & works very smoothly. Being high security it gives me great piece of mind when away from home. Highly recommended.

Well finished and easy to fit. The thumbturn is secured with a cotter pin rather than a setscrew, but this would not be a problem unless you need to remove it for fitting - which is unlikely as it can nearly always be fitted with the thumbturn in place. The securing screw should be lubricated with molybdenum or lithium grease to avoid getting stuck due to corrosion.

Solid, well made and easy to fit and use.

I am generally very happy with out locks.

We had two and had them matching / keyed alike, something I would highly recommend. The locks are very easy to fit (though personally I think all cylindrical locks are). You just remove the screws for the handle (typically two on the indoors side), removal the screw for the old cylinder, put the key in the external side, the turn/wiggle until it comes out. Reverse for installing the new lock, very easy and only requires a screwdriver.

One minor point is that with these locks it seems slightly harder to get the key lined up compared to other locks.

Seems very well made, function’s perfectly, easy and simple to fit. Cost effective security upgrade. Extremely fast delivery, with excellent communication and service.

The lock arrived swiftly and fitted perfectly. The only issue I had was the screw provided was too long so I had to use my existing screw from the old lock.
