Overall purchased 3 sets of locks from Safe having moved house.

I searched around online and choose this Asec Kite Elite from the reviews and security rating, anti snap and anti bump. Fundamental there is only one screw that holds the lock in place, you may have to remove the handle casing depending on your door. Either way easy to fit up.

The build quality is good and given the various videos online of the destructive tests I am confident in this.

Managed to size one of the locks backwards and the team were really nice and happy to swap out for the correct locks.

Nice flat key rather than some of the bulky alternatives. A little on the expensive side, but I guess it is a top end product.

Does this cylinder have the emergency / external key override function? ie where a key on the outside can still turn it even if there is a key inserted internal side?

This cylinder does not have a key override function, the cylinder would need to be key free on the inside to enable use.

Is the true total length of this cylinder 70mm (Asec Kite Elite - Euro Double Cylinder 35 - 35) or is it oversized compared to the advertised dimensions as some other brands are (e.g. advertised as 35/35 but actually measures 75mm total cylinder length, excluding the bevelled bit where the key goes in)?

As standard the Asec Kite Elite - Euro Double Cylinder 35 - 35 (70mm) is supplied Keyed to Differ which means the lock includes a set of keys that are unique and will only open this lock. If you require multiple locks you can choose to have them all Keyed Alike, meaning that each lock can be opened using the same key. You can view this cylinder keyed alike here.
