Just moved into our bungalow and was looking to upgrade our door locks.

After a lot of research we decided to install these cylinders from Asec and to buy from Safe.co.uk.

Ordering process was easy and delivery was prompt.

Would definitely use Safe.co.uk again and highly recommend.

The cylinder lock looked, and is very sturdy. I did order one through Amazon which turned out to be incorrect. they had it advertised as a split of 55/45. The 55mm turned out to be the interior size but I needed this size to be on the key side of the cylinder. I needed 45/55..45 interior side and 55 key side which it seems is the trade rule of thumb. (excuse the pun)

Very confusing but since sorted by "Safe with us"..I needed some keys cut and the locksmith said this was a very good lock one of the best he'd seen, so good enough for me.

I have used other companys for security products but, without doubt, I have found Safe to be the best. The products are well explained and described , they are good quality and well priced. Delivery has always been quick. They are my first option for security products.

Good quality product, which arrived quickly. Easy to fit, no need to be an engineer, anyone with DIY skills can fit themselves. Product now has been installed for a few months and working well. Would recommend as a replacement to do away with the need to use a key indoors.

Right sort of price just what my customer wanted

I wanted my mum to feel safer (she's 74) as she got a double euro cylinders no kite and a chain with the key at the back door. You can get the key with a coat hanger from outside through the hopper of the window to get in. There aren't many high security thumbturn euro cylinders available until I found safe with us. So easy to find the right size and value for your money. They are good quality and easy to fit and replace your old locks even my mum said that she could fit and replace the old locks by herself.

All keys have snug fit and turn freely. Likewise the thumbscrews feels firm but slick, and the door locks easily.

I really cannot fault the product, the delivery or the customer service; and the locks were cheaper than many other brands representing excellent value for money.

Bought for my daughter who was moving into a first floor flat with a single door. Given that she only got 2 door keys with the property, and one of these was clearly a duplicate obtained from Timpson's, it seemed sensible from a security point of view to fit a new cylinder to the door.

Having changed a cylinder lock in my own house a few years ago it wasn't too difficult to make the change. We decided on an interior thumbturn locking assembly so that my daughter could keep her keys in her handbag and not lose sight of them. She is really terrible at mislaying things.

Got this thumbturn cylinder to replace key lock for ease of use for my elderly parents they were well impressed saves them looking for their keys.

Very happy with the quick service an excellent price - we had an additional five keys made as well which all worked fine and were an excellent price.

My husband looked on Youtube how to change the lock himself and practised with our old lock first taking it in and out to make sure he could do it himself.

After my house was burgled, I ordered a set of anti snap locks from safe.co.uk earlier this year and they went in like a dream and worked fine. The locks were also set up by them to be openable with one key which is a great idea.There was just one lock that seemed a bit intermittent and I called them up to see if there was anything I could do to fix it. They insisted on replacing the lock and also ensuring it was openable by the same key as the others (which involves some engineering). Of course no extra cost.

My property is now secured to a high standard and I can recommend Safe.co.uk for their products and after sales service.

Just "as it says on the tin"

I needed to get a new cylinder for a door lock, and decided on a thumbturn one as we sometimes forgot to get the key from the lock so we couldn't unlock from the outside and had to use another door. I tried the local major chains but they had a limited range of sizes and none were what I needed. I did a Google search and Safe were seemed to be the best the came up. Checking their website they had a much larger range, including the size that I needed. Ordering online was easy and the new tumbler arrived on time and was a perfect fit.

We bought 2 locks. They were perfect in every way. The back door with inside knob is so handy too

Delivery was a bit later than communicated but the products are exactly as expected.

I bought four locks from safe, with thumb turns and keyed alike.

All four locks arrived together and in good time, the locks fitted as expected, and work well.

Absolutely no issues, the use of thumb turns and keyed alike may slightly lower security for the building, bust vastly improves the usability of the doors with one key access, and in case of emergency such as a fire allows quick exit, without looking for keys.

I had bought a plastic measuring tool for euro lock at a local hardware store, and was glad as I took the time to measure a number of times before ordering, and recieved what I ordered.

Easy order, easy fitting.

Good price and full range of sizes was a big help as I needed to swap 3 door locks to thumb locks and all were different sizes.

I can't guarantee how effectively they work until some one tries to break in, but they appeared at least as good as the originals.

Keck turning was smooth and fitting very straightforward.

Bought to replace an old key on both sides lock, that was far to big for the door, when I moved into a new house. This specific size is very hard to come by so finding it here was great, it’s arrived after a few days and fit perfectly and has a really nice finish with no sharp edges like some cheap barrels, highly recommended!

Many thanks my goods arrived very quickly and the traceability was also good. I had a slight problem with the goods and usually there is always a problem when trying to contact a human being or even trying to find a phone number to contact. In this case it was very simple a phone number was available and i had no problems with getting through to them. A replacement was sent out straight away and i was also sent a courier to collect the goods i had a problem with. The staff were pleasant and very helpful indeed. The lock is well made. Good quality materials. You get three keys which was good. I changed the lock on my new house front door as the old one did look very good, and lucky I did as someone tried breaking in and couldn’t I assume due to the locks safety features.

I think these are great, previously only available to offices and companies. It was good to be able to order just a small amount (4-off) so that my 4 outside doors all work off the same key. This names a big difference to the amount of keys that have to be carried about on a keyring and the associated weight of a lot of keys. As long as you measure accurately from the locating screw to each end of the existing barrel then it's a doddle to order. Do nor get the measurements wrong as there is no return on same key locks. The best way is to practice by taking out your existing barrel and measuring before ordering. Like cutting wood measure twice cut once, locks measure twice order once. They are easy to fit once you receive them but check each one locks and unlocks from both sides after switching locks, just to be on the safe side

Very easy to fit, nice security features and is well matched to the other door furniture ( key chain and the like ) .

Packaging has a size guide to help you choose the correct lock ( which is very useful when trying ensure the correct lock has been picked ).

Rotation movement is smooth and although the entrance side of the lock sticks out further than i would like, this is so the anti snap feature works correctly.

Very easy process to get multiple locks keys alike, but you will only get the standard 3 keys and then 1 extra per payment (so 3 locks and 1 extra key will get you a total of 4 keys and not 10 as you might think).

A decent, well priced lock given the features and level of security.

I have bought a number of Asec euro cylinders now and the build quality it always brilliant.

I'm sure I'll buy more from this brand in the future.

We bought this a few weeks ago to replace the lock in our back porch. We wanted something that was top quality at a good price having looked around at different shops and websites we came across safe.co.uk

The customer service was great and the delivery was quick!

The lock fits perfectly, we measured using the instructions on the website which are really handy as we didn't have a clue beforehand! They really helped us out both when measuring and fitting the new lock.

What to say about a door lock? Well it looks nicely made and was trivially easy to fit in under a minute. The locking action is smooth and … er …. well that’s about all I have. Decent lock at a reasonable price.

Having fitted ASEC snap locks to my house (bought them from a locksmith in Oxford) I persuaded a neighbour to do likewise for their front door. Info on measuring and fitting the lock also the delivery were spot on and the price direct was much lower - lesson learned. Took all of 90 seconds to fit!

Nice looking product and very easy to fit. It was fully compatible with my new mortice deadlock and escutcheons. All three keys worked perfectly and it seems very secure.

I replaced the lock as the old one was thirty years old and was not marked up with approvals and it did not have anti snap features.

Not easy to find a short lock to fit patio doors and a vertical keyhole as my wife has arthritis and has difficulty with the latest locks with horizontal keyholes.

Good, solid lock. Feels robust as any of the three keys go in. Some sharp edges on the keys though. Wish I’d ordered some copy keys but Timpsons did that for me. Very easy to fit - one screw once you’ve taken the door handle off - no need to hire a locksmith.
