Indoor or Outdoor use

Any security light which is suitable for outdoor use will advertise an IP rating such as IP65. This ensures that your camera is weatherproof and will stand the test of time when exposed to harsh weather conditions. Security lights that are not IP rated are intended for indoor use only and will fail once exposed to rain water.
