The Steel Post Catcher - Silver is designed to be secured to the back of the door and lined up with the letter plate to catch the mail. The contents are easily removed via the lift up flap which is particularly useful when trying to keep your mail safe from pets or to save you from bending down to collect the mail off the floor. A fixing kit is supplied for installation.

I am afraid my wife did not like it, she thinks it looks clumsy on the back of the door and, if I had got around to fitting it sooner I would have requested a return, but we have just moved house and this task was down the list a bit.

Would it take a bulky magazine eg Gardeners World which measures 23 cm across?

Would this rust if fixed outside?
