The movement detection using the numbers of changing sections is a bit hit and miss, as is the pre recording of a trigger event. This is true of both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

The effective trigger distance of an event is dramatically affected by the light conditions, it can be as good as 50m or very rarely not at all.

The night vision is good, but number plates aren’t visible.

Identifying people inside a vehicle occasionally happens, the reflected light on the windows is the usual problem, but don’t expect the night vision to do this with cameras sited as I have them.

Watching the PCSO walking up and down the lane nicely demonstrated the clarity of the image.

I am very pleased with the system, it works away flawlessly. The infra red sensors on the cameras virtually eliminate false triggering that might otherwise occur due to bushes etc moving in the wind. The night video footage is also impressive.

As a silver surfer I would have liked an instruction book as to how to record and make use of items that have been recorded.

because the camera is white it also stands out as appose to the black one I had before. This could also act as a deterrent. In terms on the resolution its as good in the night as in the day time.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone seeing piece of mind it doesn't matter if your not technical as its a doddle to set up and use.
