It was exactly what I wanted

I've used these locks before on previous properties and have always been happy with them. I chose 2 barrels with 4 keyed-alike keys. All work perfectly and I'm happy with the increased security they provide.

I ordered this item as our previous lock had started to play up. It arrived very quickly and very well packed.

Instructions were very clear, and in a few minutes I had successfully removed the old lock and replaced it with the new one. Since the new lock has been fitted it has worked perfectly, without any problems or issues. It looks to be a very well designed and manufactured lock, and it feels as though it will give us better security than the lock that it replaced. All in all a very good value purchase and well worth the money paid for it.

Good price easy to fit.

Fitted in 10 minutes,no problems at all,security side not tried,no one attempted to break in yet,but it appears a solid lock,it was suggested to me by a retired locksmith.

The cost of the lock was very competitive,no problems with delivery which was fast considering,problems with Royal Mail.

Since I started using Cisa locks at the University I worked at, I have now installed them on all my house locks. Keys are so much more secure than standard Yale type and not orientation specific, which is great when having cold and or wet fingers. This Euro lock took just a few minutes to install.

I purchased this CISA Astral S - Euro Double Cylinder 45 - 50 for our porch as we got already several CISA Astral S cylinders on the external doors. The ones I purchased before are very good ones, but the newly purchased one was not build properly, as if the key is inserted all the way (as usual), you cannot turn it! You need to leave a gap of approx 1mm in order to allow the key to turn and open the door. Same problem on both sides of thy cylinder, quite disappointed.

It was easy to fit, normal Euro lock fittings.

All the keys I had cut fit perfectly, not issues.

Got this for a patio door that needed the shorter length lock. Fitting same as most Euro cylinders, just unscrew the bolt and slide out the old lock then slide in the new one. The new bolt was a bit long so used the old bolt as it was the same thread size. The lock seems solidly made. The Cisa keys are very secure with 10 pins in the side of the key. Have had no issues with inserting or turning them. As the keys are straight sided they are less likely to rip a hole in your trousers.

I have used 6 pin locks in the past, but this is a totally different product. The build quality is good and there is no possibility of "picking" it like with a standard Euro lock so I'm totally satisfied that the small price difference is worth it to upgrade the security to this level. Fitting is extremely simple and it can replace any standard Euro lock in less than 5 minutes, so totally happy with this purchase. Safe is the best value place to get them as well.

I really like these Euro cylinders, I've had them for more than 10 years without any issues, in fact the only reason I've ever had to change one is when I lost a key. The lock I removed was perfect after a number of years service. They are easy to install, easy to use and give good hard wearing security. The only improvement I've seen is to include a magnetic element to the key and lock which is maybe something you should think about. Anyway be assured, I will buy this system again for future doors.

The cylinder was a perfect fit, flush with my handles both sides for added security and assists in preventing cylinder snapping.

easy to install well built solid lock . purchased as my wife is disabled and wanted to be able to lock door knowing she could get out safely in an emergency .

I needed to change from a mortise lock and sourced this Cisa Astral Euro lock which, after consulting with my insurance company as not sure whether they would allow a thumb turn, it was purchased and installed.

It is easy to fit as most Euro locks are and the convenience of not having to look for the key when opening the front door from the inside,and also,in the case of an emergency it allows the door to be opened without searching for the key. Downside with a mortise lock if the key is left in the lock it cannot be opened from the outside, so a win win situation allround.

excellent quality easy to fit ( took 5 minutes tops ) . Value was exceptional some websites were quoting upto £ 70 . Even amazon charge more. Also delivery was fast. no fuss not pushy , just make your choice and they`ll do the rest quickly quietly and speedily , whilst keeping you informed all the way . Will definitely use again .

Arrived very quickly, the lock was just as described and works extremely well. Now we dont have to fumble around looking for the keys to lock the door at night.In addition, the high security keys are far easier to use than the standard type, they are also not sharp in your pocket. Much better build quality and security level (these are anti pick and anti snap) than the standard lock that came with the door. I will certainly be replacing the rest of the locks in our house when I get the time to do it, the extra peace of mind is certainly worth it!

Very easy to fit, feels like it is good quality.

Only reason for lower score is because the screw holding the turning latch in place somehow broke, or was possibly broken on delivery and kept falling of when unlocking or opening the door. It is in such an obscure place I am not sure how it could be broken but I replaced the screw with one I had and it seems to be working fine now, i.e. it no longer falls off when unlocking the door. Feel like a robust lock, happy with the purchase

We changed all our external locks to one key. These were the lock recommended. They seem excellent quality and were simple to fit. Our local police security adviser complimented us on our choice when he reviewed our security. Expensive but worth it.

CISA cylinder price was very competitive and the item arrived very quickly. It came with good instructions and the necessary bolt to secure it. The key card and keys were securely packaged so could not have been tampered with since leaving the factory. Fitting the new barrel was very straightforward and it operates smoothly and effectively. I consider it to be a very good buy.

An excellent product - lock was replaced to allow access if keys had been left in the lock on the inside by the elderly homeowner who also found the lock much easier to lock and unlock than the previous lower-quality lock which was installed as standard. One happy customer, many thanks.

There aren't many high security thumb turn euro cylinders available. This fits the bill perfectly. They key is also compact and not oversized like some of the high security cylinders. Size combinations are more limited that common or garden cylinders, but we got one to fit.

It did the job well and is far more secure than the original lock fitted.

The production is well designed and looks solid. The only problem I have is the provided locating screw is too long so I have to use the screw from my old lock.

I bought 2 pairs of these locks, keyed alike, one pair thumb turn and one pair Euro double. These CISA Aslral S locks are the ‘Ferrari’ of Euro Locks, - they are made in Italy. When you see them in your hand and feel the mechanism they are truly well engineered and worth the cost both for their engineering, security, 10 pin cylinder and ease of fitting but most importantly for their safety design – the lock can be opened from the outside even when a key is still in place on the inside. To me this is a very important feature as I had an experience where my mother took a ‘stroke’ and we could see her through the laminated glass lounge window but could not get in until the Fire Brigade arrived, -seconds do count. Enough said, so I would not fit any other make of lock now.

This product was exactly as described. It was extremely easy to install and the instructions were not needed, despite being detailed. The locking screw was too long for my door, but being a standard size allowed me to use the locking screw that the previous lock used, so there was no issue there.

The lock came with a card and reference so as to be able to purchase a new key online if necessary. After a few months of use the lock is still working well and I've had no issues whatsoever. It provides a high level of security with the ease and simplicity of easy exit. A great product.

From the hundreds of cylinders available from Safe.co.uk, this was the only one that had the exact mix of features I was looking for. The main ones being; a higher than normal level of security and usable from both sides so you can't lock yourself out if there's a key on the inside. There were some other features, which I now can't remember. But the filters/wizard made it super easy to find which features were available and to eventually settle on this cylinder.

I choose keyed alike, so they did take a while to arrive (as advertised). Very happy with the product and the service. It's not the first time I've ordered from Safe.co.uk and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Very good build quality and excellent finish with the added peace of mind that they are highly secure BS-compliant locks. Keys are stylish and "a bit different" which gives a feeling of luxury - to that extent the fact they do not necessarily resemble the stereotypical key is in my view useful as it would be an additional deterrent should I lose them in the future. Thumbturn is very easy to use and fitting was a doddle: less than five minutes by myself with a screwdriver.

Regardless of the steel used for the key and the cylinder, the texture is better than expected.

The lock itself is very good and well made, the facility to buy these keyed alike at no extra cost is very helpful and really good value. The lock is much more secure than the standard euro cylinder type which can snapped fairly easily. The only thing negative is that the lock is only supplied with one fixing screw. This screw is very long and not suited to all fitments without modification. It would have been better if two screws of different lengths were supplied. Service from Safe was first class and the locks were received within the date promised.

After finally buying our own home, I knew that safety and security was key. I looked at various products on multiple sites and then I cane accross safe ( : . This site is by far the easiest site I looked at when selecting all of the particular specifications for the lock I needed. I loved the fact I could order extra keys, although I did get confused as to how many I was buying. The Astral S appears to be sturdy and was easy to fit. You may need to cut down the bolt that secures the lock to the door. I used the old bolt to save doing this.

The orientation of the lock was horizontal rather than vertical but that doesn’t present a problem. Can’t comment on security as until someone tries to force it you can’t know.

This is ideal cylinder to use if you have elderly relative who keeps leaving key in lock on inside of door! This is the only decent secure cylinder I could find that has a clutch inside so that we can still unlock the door with key from outside if a key is in lock on the inside. Perfect - especially in an emergency situation where we need to get in house quickly.

We bought the CISA Astral S - Euro Thumbturn Cylinder 35 - 35 and are very happy with it. It was very easy to install, arrived in a good time, great quality and comes with 3 sets of keys. I originally ordered the wrong size and Safe were great helping me with the return and getting the right size out. Would recommend, especially the thumbturn mechanism - easy to use.

Excellent secure lock, easy to fit as its a Euro lock

No issue with installing the lock, behaves just like any other cylinder locks. The thumbturn was a nice upgrade from the mortice lock I had before. Keys seem sturdy, though had to remind family that the key hole should point to the left (as they're used to it pointing down), lest they try to yank the key out.

I've bought this lock because I wanted to be able to get in from the outside even if a key was into the lock on the inside, and that works perfectly. It's of course more secure than an ordinary lock as the key cannot be duplicated without the card.

Very easy to fit with just one screw to take out and screw back in.

Difficult to say how secure it is against break ins: I can only trust the description for that.

It is a bit on the expensive side: I've bought a similar product in Spain for about half the price.
