I was in a bit of a pickle as the previous owner of the house had left a half-broken key inside a half cylinder lock on our bi-fold doors, meaning security was a bit compromised. There are quite a lot of options out there for locks but thankfully the best place I found to buy one was at Safe.co.uk where everything was listed really clearly and they had guides and descriptions. Using other sites I very nearly ordered the wrong thing! When it arrived from Safe it was well packaged, fitted well, and the build quality was high too. The fitting process was easy and has been trouble-free since. Thanks Safe.

Keyed to Differ or Keyed Alike locks?

As standard the Asec 6 Pin - Euro Half Cylinder 40 - 10 (50mm Nickel Plated) is supplied Keyed to Differ which means the lock includes a set of keys that are unique and will only open this lock. If you require multiple locks you can choose to have them all Keyed Alike, meaning that each lock can be opened using the same key. You can view this cylinder keyed alike here.

  • Each lock is opened by its own unique key.

Our Keyed Alike Cylinder Packs make it easy to create your own custom cylinder lock and key solution - allowing up to 99 keys to unlock any combination of different-sized cylinder locks.

The possibilities are endless - from having one key per family member unlocking the front door, kitchen and patio doors, right up to large-scale company storage keying options.

  • Each key can open multiple locks - the same key could unlock your house and office.
  • Locks need to be the same brand and number of levers.
