Phoenix SCL1491GAK Anthracite Steel Storage Cupboard

The cabinet arrived within around 2 days very well packaged however when the package was opened it appeared to have been badly damaged in Transit

I contacted the help desk the same night post closing time with pictures.

I received a return phone call from SAFE mid morning next day with a new replacement cabinet being despatched the very same day

the cabinet arrived the next day undamaged

The assembly of the cabinet was fairly simple with minimal tools required with a build time of around 30 minutes

The actual cabinet on completion is exactly what I was looking for in this instance a food/grocery storage unit for my garage for non perishable goods

the finish is excellent and very sturdy

I was very impressed with the response and customer service from SAFE and would defiantly recommend and defiantly buy from this company again

I cannot give this Storage Cupboard less than 5 stars across the board. After a great deal of research and pondering when buying storage cupboards for our garage we opted to purchase two of these cupboards and one larger one (same manufacturer and supplier - safe.co.uk). We did think about going cheaper and buying plastic but were worried about build quality and strength. We also wondered about going more expensive but really don't think that we would have got anything of better build quality and strength than these cupboards. The cupboards came extremely well packaged and protected. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. We are extremely pleased and on top of that they look great (my wife loves the red doors).

Perfect for file storage this cupboard is relatively easy to erect and is sturdy enough for general use.

It is lockable and although not fireproof itself, it will accommodate a small and secure waterproof/fireproof box [also purchased from safe.co.uk] therefore creating a cost-effective solution for safe office storage.

The cupboard depth facilitates the storage of lever arch files with easy access and the ability to read the spines - so simple identification.

The cupboard is also large enough to use for archive box storage, including those using hanging files.

All in all a useful storage solution and smart-looking addition to the office.

A great sturdy item, ideal for secure storage in our business premises, also adds a splash of colour too (we opted for blue) so looks great in the space. Fairly simple to build and not time consuming. Best of all great value, couldn't be beaten on price for similar items elsewhere of a similar quality. Would definitely purchase again.
