The Phoenix Battery Commander Pro BS1946F is a high security storage cabinet designed to protect lithium-ion batteries, and the surrounding environment, should they catch fire. This large fire safe is certified to the VDMA 24994:2024-08 standard, it features robust safety measures including heat ventilation, a temperature monitor, and a built-in siren and strobe light that activate in case of overheating. It has passed a 9.1 metre fire and impact drop test and includes a high-security biometric fingerprint locking keypad. Internally, it offers three reinforced adjustable shelves, four 8-way PDU plug sockets, and supports up to a maximum safe capacity of up to 19000Wh (individual battery capacity up to 4750Wh).

Fire Protection

The Phoenix Battery Commander Pro delivers dual fire protection, safeguarding both your batteries and the surrounding environment. Tested and certifiead to VDMA 24994:2024-08, it provides protection for up to a maximum single battery capacity of 4750Wh and a total storage capacity of 19000Wh, containing potential thermal runaway or fire incidents within the safe. In addition, it is independently certified to NT Fire 017-120p, ensuring 120 minutes of fire protection from outside to in, keeping stored batteries secure in the event of an external fire.

Charging

This unit comes fitted with 5 x 8-gang PDU power sockets, allowing multiple lithium batteries to be charged simultaneously inside the safe. For added flexibility, an additional 4-gang PDU can be purchased and installed, providing even greater charging capacity to meet your operational needs.

Siren & Strobe

The unit is equipped with a siren and strobe light that will activate if overheating or thermal runaway is detected. In this situation, the power supply to the cabinet is automatically cut, stopping all charging until the safe has returned to its normal operating range.

Fingerprint Locking

This fingerprint locking model offers advanced biometric security with a built-in fingerprint reader. It can store up to 32 unique fingerprint scans, making it ideal for multi-user environments, while also providing fast, keyless access with just a touch.
