Phoenix Phoenix Titan 1252e

The Phoenix Titan 1250 Series of fire resistant security safes is constructed from galvanised steel plate with a virtually airtight recessed curvature door, which prevents fire and smoke damage to the contents. The door is secured using a high security electronic lock with programmable user and manager codes up to 8 digits in length.

The Phoenix Titan safes are available in a range of three sizes, 1251e, 1252e and 1253e, and are fire resistant for 60 minutes at temperatures of 927°C for paper documents tested and approved to UL 72 Class 350 1hr and GB1970. Additionally they provide 60 minutes fire protection for CD's and DVD's to SP specification.

The Titan safes are recommended for a cash risk of £2,000 or valuables risk of £20,000*

The Phoenix Titan 1250 Series is ready prepared for basefixing to the floor with twin anchorage points and a full range of bolts and screws to suit any type of concrete, wooden or composite floor. The added security offered by this method will deter even the most experienced criminal.

Every Phoenix Titan firesafe is manufactured to withstand temperatures in excess of 927°C for over 60 minutes to International standards UL 72 Class 350 1hr and GB1970. The safe is also drop tested from 10 metres to simulate falling through the floors of a burning building or being buried under a collapsing building. A modern, compact, high security, fire resistant safe designed to meet the need for residential and business use.

Pros: Has a great build quality and the built in alarm is a good deterrent.

It comes with a useful 'bit's n bobs' tray and also an adjustable metal tray which is great for maximising the use of the internal space which is probably the best a this price range considering it's data protection qualities!

The electronic combination lock is so easy to use and is very clear in light or dark due to the blue backlight!

Cons: Not really any cons given the price rage (I'm thinking of locking bolts given the hinged part of the door has steel 'struts' that go into the frame instead)

My personal preferance would be for the Key Override to be more hidden as I wonder if it is a 'weak spot?'

A very nice safe at a very good price.

Decent capacity, in spite of it being a firesafe (which all seem to have a surprisingly small internal size compared to the size that the outside suggests).

Delighted with this safe. Highly recommended.

Removable shelf - to enable vertical storage of large items, such as a laptop. Very solid and confidence-inspiring build quality. Doddle to setup.

One can never have a large enough safe, as it is so easy to think of extra things that would be good to put...

Pros: Big safe and easy to use.

Has an intruder alarm more of a deterant.

Has a Key overide if the keypad plays up.

Enough space to kep A4 documents in withoput folding them up.

Jewellery draw and an adjustable shelf.very hand

Cons: Instructions to bolt safe down were an A3 photocopied piece of paper and pretty much useless to be honest.

Handle drops down after opening and locks in postition so you have to put the code in again to lock it and hand is a little rattly.

Alhough its a big safe because its fire proof the inside isn't as big as you would expect but big enough for my needs.

Pros: Easy to install and a very heavy bit of kit. Not tried to break in but I would imagine it would be pretty tough. Seeing as it is fireproof it gives me peace of mind and it looks cool with the digital keypad....very James Bond Cons: Smaller inside than I thought, never bought a safe before so probably my mistake. Also the interior shelf is not the best and falls of regulalry. Otherwise a good product
