Product has a good,solid, feel to it. The design is well thought out, preventing access to wheel nuts. Gives the impression that it could survive quite a significant attack.

Took me little while to figure out how to put it all together.

Once assembled it can be tricky to get the locking mechanism to locate and lock properly - I understand this is a common complaint with this item - the rest of the riders had a 20 minute head start on me on one occasion!

Nice idea but the top arm is too wide for a 165 tyre (the clamp is designed for a 165 R13 tyre) so gets jammed into mudguard, as such I have to partially remove the mudguard to install the clamp which is quite frankly a pain.

I am trying to source wheel clamps for boat trailers in our Yacht Club. Is it possible to have two clamps with one set of keys that fits both?

For an extra cost this model and any of our Bulldog Wheel Clamps can be “Keyed Alike” so that the same key will unlock multiple wheel clamps. Simply select the “Keyed Alike” option at the checkout.

Looking for Bulldog wheel clamp for Ifor Williams 506 horse trailer Tyre size : 165 R 13 - steel rims. Please advise which clamp as I am unsure as to the meaning of 'no trim' and 'flat trim'

This model or the Bulldog QD22 Caravan Clamp will both be suitable for the horse trailer with the tyre sizes given.

When we refer to the wheel having no trim, we simply mean that it is a steel wheel without the plastic wheel trim attached. Wheel trims when fitted do come in different cosmetic styles and in some cases can protrude quite extensively from the face of the wheel, we refer to these as having a bulbous trim, when they do not, we refer to them as having flat trim.
