Absolute rubbish has given me nothing but hassle from day one. Plus the smart phone feature. Key sharing and Smart phone key does not even work. Also how do you problems with Apple on the App Store. Concerning the app to this problem. One of my worst purchases of all time

I was so please that I waited for this lock to come out. It was easy to fit myself following the enclosed guide. So simple and easy. Once paired to my phone and the extra tag and card that comes with the lock I tried it out. At first I was a little worried so always had my back door key with me. I was soon put at ease and now I unlock with either my phone or the small key tag which is on my car keys. Very very pleased with the Yale Conexis lock and would recommend with out fail.

I was very sceptical of installing this as I thought it would be more trouble than a normal handle but my customer wanted it (even though they had the old model with just the buttons which didn’t work and were told by Yale it wasn’t their fault) it was very difficult to fit and a month later wouldn’t lock we went back to fix it but it was the lock that was broken,Yale just said it was our fault and wouldn’t do anything about it even though it had 2 years warranty

Have to say there were a few issues to begin with but safe were incredible to the point where one guy, cannot recall his name, called almost every day until the issue was resolved.

I will definitely be buying from them again, outstanding service

The Conexis L1 lock is so easy to fit and makes you feel more secure. No chance of someone trying to force the lock.

The handle style is very good.

The lights and audible sounds it makes when locking and unlocking are reassuring. Also if you have not locked it correctly it lets you know with an audible sound as well.

The fob was very easy to set up and use it rather than the phone app. The phone app is set up but at first it would not respond. That situation corrected itself. As we use the fobs more, I cannot comment on the reliability of the app now.

I would recommend this product highly.

Expensive but miles better than other locks I have tried, I have mine connected to Smartthings via the z wave 2 module and it works flawlessly.

The Yale app leaves a bit to be desired but if you go with the Smartthings and create a widget on your phone then it saves the faffing about with bluetooth app.

Much much better build quality than Nuki and those types of lock and battery life even with the Z wave module is great, I messed about with the lock for the first few weeks and chewed through a set of batteries in 6 weeks but I am 3 months in to another set and they have 80% left.

I never managed to get this installed. The guide had no words just pictures. I must have installed, removed, reinstalled this for about 5 hours with getting it to work. Eventually I admitted default and got a locksmith who confirmed I had installed it correctly, but I had missed one crucial step - which wasn’t within the manual. When I have fitted in I needed to turn the central locking mechanism so that it wasn’t in the locking position. If I had managed to do this then I would have been able to get it working. In theory it should be a 10 minute job. In practice it was a very expensive waste of money. Great product if it worked. Unusable if it doesn’t. I have eventually got another lock fitted which was much more expensive (by the locksmith), but it does work and suits my needs perfectly.

Definitely a marmite device.

I ordered the Yale Conexis1 door handle and the Z-Wave module from Safe.co.uk as they were the best price around, both online and onhighstreet. The handle was dispatched very quickly and I didn’t have to wait long for the Z-wave module, which was out of stock at the time. Do take your time to read the fitting instructions and you’ll have it set up in about 30 minutes. When fitted with the Z-Wave module the lock worked perfectly with Samsung SmartThings. I highly recommend Safe.co.uk and will certainly order from this company again in the future. Very happy with the service, products and price.

Few issues, when we get bad whether, we live on the coast, the lock blue tooth gets triggered so we get lots of failed blue tooth connects which is confusing and drains the battery. The app does not tell you when the phone blue tooth is disabled and I spent a long time trying to work out why the app was not working and re installing, I sometimes I disable it when in the car and forget to re enable it so I cant get in via the app. Whey does the app not tell you blue tooth is turned off!

Excellent door lock easy to lock the door by pulling up the handle so I no the door is always locked

I would recommend getting the additional module and key button fob makes accessing the house much easier you can unlock the door from 10meters away.

If you just want the door lock for the app feature I wouldn’t recommend the lock at this time for that as it only works when it wants to very tempromental.

I had a fault with the lock I rang up Yale and they sent me a new part next day very good customer service aftercare.

Love this lock, only the price puts me off, buying one for my back door.

Had builders in recently and loved the fact once we'd let them in, we can go out and they just walk out, lift the handle and the door locks.

Also great to give fobs out to family and friends and then choose when they can come in or not. Revoking keys when lost is another great feature

Wish i'd bought the brushed look rather than chrome, but the chrome had an offer on making it cheaper. Battery has so far lasted 6 months and still shows full on the app.

The lock was bigger and heavier than expected. It is a well made, solid, secure device that I have used on a side entry door. I run a small business that requires a few people to access the rear of the house so this is the easiest way to secure the access but allow selected people access. I have used the mobile app to unlock/open the door but the use of key fobs is the preferred method. occasional hiccups adding additional fobs but closing the app and starting again generally works fine. As an additional option I would like to get a log of all key fob uses, it would then act as a time and attendance device - maybe in the next version of the app??

This was worth every penny even for a domestic use. I use a wheelchair and wanted to be carrying less keys and this was the perfect solution. I can now easily get into the house with a fob and phone app. I can even give the postman access to the porch to securely leave packages by sending them a digital key that only works between a 2 hour window.

I can easily manage who can get through my door and also get alerts when people are coming and going. Adding new people is simple and you the application to manage this is very easy to use.

Do I need the card/phone tag/fob to lock the door, or can I do with the handle? What if the battery dies?

This can be locked using the handle in the same 'lift to lock' method that is usually used. In the event of battery power failure there is a connection point for a 9V battery to allow access.
