Codelocks CL4510 Smart Lock (Stainless Steel)

Really impressed with the lock. The build quality of this lock is fantastic and feels solid. I bought it because i wanted to update codes and manage it remotely. You can do that but only via Bluetooth not WiFi. So long as you are close enough to connect to it on Bluetooth, which it does quickly, you can open the door, add new users, check logs etc. The app itself is pretty basic. But easy to use and stable on Android.

I would recommend the lock and will probably get another one for another rental house we have. It's made guest and cleaner access MUCH easier...

The lock appears well made and uses good quality materials and the instructions for fitting it are reasonably clear. The activation of the lock did require some fine tuning after initial fitting as the lock release mechanism was not engaging properly to start with - and is still a little temperamental.

The instructions for setting up different users and phone access have so far eluded me but as the lock has three potential release methods we are currently using either the key or the keypad to open the door. Each time we try to add a new user it seems to overwrite the authority of the original, but this may be down to a misunderstanding on my part.

Overall, it is a great addition to our household security.

Excellent sturdy product which has replaced a Yale Connected which was bereft with problems and lock failure. Atleast with this one you have a manual key back up which prevents you from being locked out. Highly recommended for any short term rentals..
