A nicely made item, to be used in addition to normal locks, as this type of lock would not meet the usual minimum standards for insurance companies. However, it provides a reasonably secure, push button solution for e.g. allowing carers in to the house, and it is easy to periodically change the keycode which was deemed necessary to control who had access to the house. In summary, a nicely made lock with reasonable security, and easy to change keycode - would buy again.

I have 4 teenage boys who are forever going into other rooms to nick stuff from their brothers. Are these locks good for bedroom doors? Are they easy to fit? Do you have any ideas for alternatives?

Our Mechanical Digital Door Locks are perfect for adding security to a bedroom door and can be fitted easily. You may prefer to look at digital door locks with a key override so that you can always gain access yourself.
