The build quality of the Codelocks CL160 is excellent. It has a very rewarding "clunck" to it's operation. The one reservation I have is probably also a commentary of my workmanship! I fitted the lock to an external wood gate. So whilst the template provided works well for a firm material when I drilled the holes they were all a little furry. This lead to mal-alignment of teh two halves and difficulty in operation. After a couple of goes I finally solved teh problem and now teh loack works as intended.

l can highly recommend this digi lock.

Looks great in situe. User friendly for those who should be able to gain access to a secure area. Excellent for peace of mind.

Easy to install. Sadly the lock was delivered to my new home and has been stolen whilst awaiting delivery of the new door it was to be fitted on.

l have previously used these locks on mobile classrooms doors with great feeling of security ensured. Hence wanted one fitted at my new home.🥺. l would not choose any other manufacturer as the durability is excellent. Even school kids can't break it!

Excellent value for the price

Very difficult to align properly when fitted to a wooden back gate. Even if the 3 holes are aligned properly, there is little tolerance to misalignment and the latch often won't spring back out after opening. The 25mm hole in the edge of the door should be more like 28mm to allow for the mechanism to move smoothly.

We fitted 2 of these locks and had alignment issues on both, despite careful fitting. On the second, the screw thread between the front and back plates would not engage. Thankfully this was covered by warranty and Codelocks sent out a replacement plate and fixings, but they were unable to offer a refund as we were past the 30 days since purchase. Would have preferred to get a refund and replace with more reliable locks.

Thankfully they are both fitted and seem to be working ok for now, but would not recommend as they are not worth the hassle fitting.

This lock has been fitted to a new garage rear door from the utility room. Have been using for the last couple weeks. for me I couldn't have picked a better security handle/lock especially with hold open function.

Can't fault the product or the service, awesome.
