Brattonsound Ammo Cabinet Plus

Great ammo safe, just wish they did a deeper / bigger one in this configuration. Locks are good quality with smooth operation, and comes with 2 keys for each lock. Can't fault it for the money. Lots of mounting options on floor and back. Best in class for this price range.

Installation Advice: Make sure the safe is as level as possible to ensure the door shuts correctly. Only improvement would be to supply grommets/bungs for the mounting holes you don't use - 14mm, got them from a well known auction site in grey to match.

Nice cabinet but could do with door buffers as when the door is locked you can rattle it because it is not a tight closure.

I am so pleased that I chose the Brattonsound Ammo Cabinet. It is so well constructed and solid - it was obviously dropped by the delivery courier but other than a mark on the paintwork no damage was sustained so there was no thoughts of returning it.

The security locks are found on safes that cost considerably more.

So I would definitely recommend it.

It is extremely well constructed with totally hidden seams and sunken door,its heavy duty locks give you the confidence to store any type of ammunition.Its size allows storage of large amounts of shells and cartridges. Brattonsound is always my first stop for forearms equipment.

This is essentially a simple steel cabinet with two fixed shelves, secured with two seven lever locks (using different keys) located at the top and bottom edge of the door. It's roomy enough to store many hundreds of rounds of ammunition and/or reloading components securely. Rock solid when bolted to the wall but not quite as rigid as the Brattonsound gun cabinets before installation. Indeed the manufacturer's instructions specifically remind you to make sure the cabinet is square before you bolt it down so that the door aligns with the frame. Good value if you want certainty and peace of mind re. ammunition storage.

The cabinet is a good size, A4 folders and laptop etc fit in perfectly as I am using for personal items not guns and explosives! Still have to get it bolted to the wall but looks easy enough to do. Cabinet seems pretty strong.
