Armorgard OX1 Van Box

This Van box is well made and seems fit for purpose. In our case the box is used for secure overnight courier deliveries to the the rear of our shop. My only comment would be with regard to the lid catch that holds the box open. While the lid catch holds the lid open and prevents hands/ fingers being crushed with a falling lid it does require two hands to disengage the catch and close the lid. This means putting down anything you have removed from the box, not ideal on a wet day.

As a team of Countryside Rangers we identified that we; 1.needed to organise our pic-up (tools on seats rolling around getting damaged)

2. make safe the tools we needed to carry on a daily basis to undertake repairs on the estate.

Our Armorgard ticked both boxes and more. It easily fixed with four bolts and has plenty of space. we've kitted ours out for all occurrences, so a full tool box, sledge hammer, loppers, bow saws, ratchet straps ....much more. we feel confident to know we have what we need and can leave the vehicle without worry of theft.

Good quality security box used for locking away the main tools in the van. It has a chub lock which is preferable over a padlock. It also has a hydraulic arm within the box which provides nice opening and closing movement.

Lots of storage space is about all i have positive to say about the product. We had them installed into the back of our security vehicles and all we get now are complaints from the drivers about the rattling and banging noises they make when driving. Additionally you have to lift the lid slightly to align the lock and the barrel which as you can imagine isn't the most fun in the dark. They weren't easy at all either to install and cost rather a lot of money.
