The Chubbsafes Fire File 2HR 2 Drawer is tested and certified by UL to Standard 72, Class 350 endurance to provide fire resistance for up 120 minutes for paper documents and filing. The body and drawer contain a minimum of 38mm fire proofing material and intumescent seals around each drawer opening are designed to close up in the event of a fire. Each drawer is isolated from it's neighbours so if the drawer is left open the remaining closed drawers are still protected by the built in fire resistant partitions.

The large heavy duty drawers are fully life tested and can accommodate an extensive number of foolscap wallets and up to 619mm of suspension filing. This fire filing cabinet is secured using a Chubbsafes key lock as standard, supplied with two keys. With the exception of the top drawer the other drawer can be isolated from the locking mechanism by turning an internal catch. This model is also in 2 larger sizes.
