The Yale Sync Alarms secure your home and alerts you when your alarm is triggered. The extended 200m wireless range enables you to protect out buildings as well as your home. The intuitive wireless system has been designed with DIY in mind ensuring the Sync Alarms really are easy to fit. No wiring or running cables in walls or under the carpet and you won't need the the services of a qualified electrician.

*This sensor is suitable for most doors and windows and should be fitted with a maximum space of 10mm between the sensor and magnet. We advise checking metal or UPVC doors and windows for compatibility.

The contacts work well either using the screws or self adhesive backing provided. They can be fitted on bevelled window frames without effecting operation. Do take care when fitting as a wonky one looks poor. Overall a great add on to an alarm kit.

The product was good the problem I had was fitting them to the window frame. The uneven profile on the upvc frames meant I spent lots of time with brackets and fixings getting the switch bodies and magnets to align. But once I got this right the switches worked fine.

Ive seen thousands of PiR's over the time but never have i seen one there as you don't install them in the top corner of a room. i installed all of mine approx 7.25 feet in the corner of the rooms, only to find non of the would pick me up well if at all . i did some research to find YALE recommend only 6 ft high. this is just plain daft. the key fobs are poor to see lock unlock, why couldn't they hi light the lock and unlock instead at it being all black. i debated in getting the ERA system, i'm starting to wish i would of payed the slightly bit mor for there system.

Recently I purchased a Yale Sync Alarm from your company. Can you tell me how to fit the window contact sensors to a recessed window with rounded trim? The contacts do not sit close enough. I have sent Yale an email two weeks ago with no response. Thank you for any help.

The door contacts are supplied with a spacer which should allow you raise one side of the contact to meet the other if this is positioned higher. Please note the two elements do not need to be touching you can allow up to a 10mm gap between both elements.
