The igloohome Smart Deadbolt 2S is the worlds slimmest smart deadbolt and puts you in control of your home security, providing the ultimate peace of mind. Access your property in a variety of ways to suit your lifestyle and send time sensitive pin codes and Bluetooth keys to family and friends.

The Deadbolt 2S is powered by 4x AA batteries which provides up to 1 years power supply. The lock is supplied with 5 physical keys so that you can override the lock in case of power failure. It is also possible to connect a 9v battery to the front keypad, which will power the lock in case of an emergency.

Lock Control by Smartphone
igloohomes' Smart Lock App allows you to open the door via Bluetooth when in range and allows you to send PIN codes to friends and family remotely for as long as you choose. The App also provides an audit so that you can keep track of who comes and goes.

Access via PIN code
The mobile app allows you to create permanent PIN codes that provide access any time. You can also create one time PIN codes to provide one off access or you can set a duration PIN which allows access for a specific time period.

Bluetooth Keys
Create and unlimited amount of Bluetooth keys that you can share with family and visitors. Provide access to your property remotely from wherever you are in the world. Users must have the app downloaded on their smartphone and be with in Bluetooth proximity to activate the lock.

Unlock the door from the Bluetooth smartphone app.

PIN

PIN Code

Programme an 8 digit PIN code of your choice and send pin codes to familiy and friends.

Key

Override Key

Open with a physical key and override the digital keypad.


Lock Privacy
The lock includes a privacy mode which deactivates the locks keypad to deny access externally via PIN code when you need to. The lock also include a decoy code feature which allows you to enter additional random digits to the beginning of your code if you have somebody watching over your shoulder.

Sync with Airbnb
If you are an Airbnb host, you can synchronise your listing calendars with your igloohome account so that PIN codes are automatically created for guests.

Fantastic lock that met our need for our holiday let. It was easy to fit, easy to use for us and guests, and looks great.

It was very hard to find a lock that could have PINs set remotely without internet connectivity, and also had a physical backup key in case it doesn’t work. This was the only lock I could find.

It feels solid, secure, and looks great on the door. I would highly recommend this lock to anyone operating a holiday let.

Instruction guide and usage guide are both clear, the app is also very easy to use. Thank you igloohome and safe.co.uk !

Bought this lock to give out one time access codes. Lock came in a lovely box, all protected really quickly. Looks really smart. I watched the Youtube video as I attempted a fitting myself. Was pretty straight forward and easy to do. Comes with a template so a drill / chisel later, I was well under way! All works perfectly well, I have set up multiple users and issued one time codes and so far 100% success. Really happy I went for this! its made my life so much easier compared to my old pin code entry. Setting up codes from home and texting them to clients is a dream!

Is it possible to disable the lock when constantly going in and out, for example when bringing in bags of shopping?

Can this be placed on an exterior front door? Will this survive against rain?

Can I set the lock to permanently be in passage mode when unlocked? I would like users to open it, and it remain open every time until they leave the premises and lock it manually with multi function button.

The lock allows you to disable the auto-relock feature meaning people can come and go when they please. This would then need re-activating when locking.

Is it possible to fit this to a metal gate/frame by, for example, mounting on a wooden panel or does the metal stop the bluetooth working? Is there an alternative model for metal gates?

This would not be suitable for mounting on a wooden panel on a metal gate. You may want to take a look at the Codelocks CL4510 Smart Lock (Stainless Steel) which would be more suitable.

I am installing into a glazed door with relatively thin stiles, how far from edge of door to start of facing plate and end of facing plate, both inside and out

From the edge of the door, to the edge of the lock externally is 160mm. From the edge of the door, to the edge of the lock internally is 20mm. All measurements can be found using the user guide.

There is a thumb turn on the inside, can a person lock themselves in? i.e. if a person has activated the thumb turn, can it still be released/unlocked from the outside And is this the Deadbolt 2S, or the latest Dead Bolt 2S Metal Grey, which has the home and back buttons instead of the hash and star?

Once the Thumb turn is engaged you can use the back up key to override the locking bolt at any time. As per our website this version would be the latest model.
