Excellent addition to my superb Yale security system. This one is being used 200 feet away from my house to secure a shed. It works like a dream. Yale and safe.co.uk a wonderful way to get peace of mind. To secure out buildings I would have liked a three zone system. But by putting the keypad in an unalarmed passageway and putting the outbuildings into the entrance zone we can part arm the alarm and have the outbuildings alarmed at all times. We have had the system in place for a couple of months now and the reassurance from being contacted by sms and email is so powerful. We purchased all of our alarm plus add ons from safe. Every question we have asked has been answered. We even ordered the wrong item and got a no quibble refund. I would not buy any other alarm than a Yale Sync and I would not buy it from anywhere else. We will be adding video to the system in the near future.

Purchased two door/window contacts for my existing wireless Smart Home Alarm IA-330. This alarm system was installed just over a year ago and works well. I wanted to add these two contacts to another door and another window, to extend the alarm system. I am very happy with the whole alarm system. It was so easy to install and set up. It is very easy to use too. The alarm hub is very small, but it makes a very loud noise when set off. The system was easy to set up on my iPhone too. I love being able to monitor the alarm system when I am away from home. Excellent alarm system and would happily recommend it.

Recently I purchased a Yale Sync Alarm from your company. Can you tell me how to fit the window contact sensors to a recessed window with rounded trim? The contacts do not sit close enough. I have sent Yale an email two weeks ago with no response. Thank you for any help.

The door contacts are supplied with a spacer which should allow you raise one side of the contact to meet the other if this is positioned higher. Please note the two elements do not need to be touching you can allow up to a 10mm gap between both elements.

Can the Yale sync door contact be installed with each part fitted 90 degrees to each other as in fitting it to a sliding patio door providing the minimum separation distance is maintained between both parts?

Can this be fitted to an up and over garage door?
