The ERA Protect Smart Alarms are wireless, app controlled, security systems that allows you to protect and monitor your home via your smartphone.

The ERA Protect Remote Control Keyfob enables you to arm and disarm your Protect alarm system from up to 100m away. The remote also includes a home mode which part arms the system when you are at home. The Plus action button provides ERA Protect Plus subscribers with a customisable action to suit their requirements.

THE BIG PROBLEM IS THAT YOU CANNOT THE ALARM SYSTEM UNLESS THROUGH A SMARTPHONE. THIS GOES FOR THE WHOLE SYSTEM. IF I HAD KNOWEN THAT ONE REQUIRES A SMARTPHONE I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS ALRM SYSTEM AS I DO NOT USE A SMART PHONE. ONE CANNOT USE THE REMOTE AS THE + BUTTON IS DISABLED.

A GREAT PITY THIS WAS NOT EXPLANED WITH THE PRODUCT AS I HAVE WASTED MY MONY AS PART INSTALLED. THE SYSTEM TO ME DOES NOT SEEM VERY SECURE AS ONE OPENS THE DOOR BEFORE THE DOOR SENSOR TRIGGERS. ONE HAS TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE PIR BEFORE IT TRIGGERS
