The alarm was recommended by Which and it certainly met expectations. It was well priced compared to other products and relatively straightforward to fit. The hardest bit was removing the old alarm system. Easy to setup and use with the ERA app. All-in-all pleased with the product and would certainly recommend to others.

I was looking for a while until I find out about this bit for kit it was nice and easy to install and family and dog friendly I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

Plus I like the flexibility to add more to my setup it make me and my wife feel like our house is safe.

There is a problem with the sensors. They have curved backs and when the adhesive is applied they frequently do not adhere to the surface and it becomes necessary to use a fixing screw. The back should be flat. The hub is in a room apart from the others in the house and it is not always heard in the rest of the property.

We upgraded our previous alarm system to this one. It is brilliant, very easy to set up. It doesn’t let you set if any of the contacts are not ‘together’. It tells you which contact has a ‘fault’. If the alarm is triggered, it tells you exactly which sensor/PIR has triggered. Text messages to phone and the app are brilliant, easy to use and accurate. We have the pet friendly PIRs, our cats have triggered them occasionally. Think it’s possibly when they are jumping up or stretching against a tall scratch post. Our cats are way below the weight but are about 6-8kgs.

We had a faulty contact in our set up which was replaced by ERA.

I bought this ERA protect for my barn. I have it connected to WIFI and via the inbuilt SIM. This provides me with that extra backup of connection.

The ERA protect was so simple to install via the app, pairing the devices was easy with QR codes. The app is really simple and well laid out.

I added an extra outside siren and installing two of these off ladders was the hardest part.

I’ve had no issues with the alarm since installing over a month ago.

My barn is steel construction and I’ve had no issues with range or signals.

Ordering from Safe.co.uk was a simple process and even used my PayPal credit for 4 months 0%. Delivery came quickly and couldn’t fault safe.

If you want an easy to use, quality alarm with the backup SIM I would throughly recommend this alarm.

I would like to see integration with Google and philips hue. It would be nice to alarm or un alarm with Google and have the HUE lights flash red if the alarm goes off.

I have asked ERA about Google home and I am waiting a response. This is not a deal breaker but a nice to have.

Simple to use and install straight from the box. Fitted quickly and up and running in no time, had an issue with a sensor but ERA sorted and replacement sent straight out. App very easy to use and set up. All in all excellent system providing good level of security and peace of mind.
