What a find?...after searching ages for a safe the right size, capacity, quality and value for money safe, to use in our little motorhome...we came across this little gem! It fits the bill perfectly and I managed to fit it "secretly" under a shallow false floor constructed under the motorhome bench seat and bolted with security wire provided, whilst still being able to store items on top! Clear, easy to use instructions, with a choice of a key & or one / two code numbers to securely lock the strong quality safe...ideal for keeping passports, wallets, jewelry, mobile phones etc!...thank you "Safe.co.uk" for providing us with our "master lock portable safeP008"!!

This little portable safe is perfect for use in the car, particularly when travelling. It is great for keeping passports, travel documents and jewellery safe and secure and easily accessible. Having had a car break-in theft a couple of years ago and lost everything, I have been looking for something like this for some time. It is also useful and very easy to move the portable safe from car to hotel or wherever we may be staying and keep our possessions safe. I can highly recommend this little safe. Ordering and delivery from ‘Safe’ was very simple and prompt. Great purchase, thank you.

Our drivers have to handle cash when out on their deliveries and none of the vans have any safe storage. The portable locking safe was a perfect solution to our problem. They are easy for the drivers to access and safely secured when left in the van whilst delivering. The steel cable although strong is flexible which means the safe can be tuck out of sight when not in use but is easily moved to a better position for access whilst still being anchored to a solid part of the interior. The key pad is a great feature as its a lot easier and quicker than keys.Then when they have finished their deliveries the safe can be easily disconnected and removed for cashing up.

Excellent product

I bought this safe to use in my caravan, which is currently stored in Spain. I needed additional security as I had been paying over the odds for safety box storage at the campsite reception. I found the safe easy to install as I was able to loop the security cable round a metal support under the bed - thus ensuring it was not visible to any potential thief and also couldn't be taken away. The digital lock works well and the storage space is easily sufficient for passports, credit cards and euro notes. I would heartily recommend this product as being excellent value for money.

Good size to keep valuables and easy to tether to a secure point in the boot.

Essential holiday security especialy when in a holiday caravan. Peace of mind when leaving valubles behind to go to the beach. I have put a smallish vibrationalarm in mine as an added security feature (fob operated). Credit cardand rings etc now safe. excellent.

Ok as a deterrent, but I don’t think the construction is strong enough to stop a determined thief with a bit of time and the right tools.

My biggest disappointment is that it won’t take my iPad, it’s could easily be big enough, but tapered design of the case/lid means the corners are too small - shame. OK for documents and mobile phones etc.

I bought this for the caravan, to tether it to the frame under the bed, holding passport, docs, spare keys. I know it's not foolproof to a determined thief carrying bolt cutters, but it would make it difficult for an easy picking.

The one thing I would suggest is that the hole where the tether wire enters the box could be better reinforced to prevent heavy force ripping the wire through the hole.

Fits nicely under the seat of my car and feels secure however, the battery in the combination lock works itself use, rendering the combination function unusable, I find I need to take care when closing it, that the security cable attachment has not popped out of its v shaped hole.

Good value for money if you are happy to use with the key control and be careful to check the cable is still attached on closing.
