Yale YP2 Grey Combination Travel Padlock

A great little lock with a clean and elegant design. It provides basic security at a low price. Ideal for luggage but I use it to secure the covering flap on an outside power point when I'm charging my electric car. That way, I can leave the car unattended and know that no one can interfere with the charging cycle. It's simple to use and whilst just three numbers may not be top-level security it means it's easier to remember the correct combination. An added bonus is that it is small and grey and so it does not draw attention to itself. All in all, a perfect fit for my needs.

I'm using these little padlocks in a high visibility role that says, "Here's my stuff and you can't have it." I'm using them with a smallish chain that has welded links and regardless of its size, it could be used to lift a mature Friesian cow. Similarl, the compact dimensions of the padlocks bely their toughness.

The padlocks aren't to anchor the Titanic but their bright colours add strength.Clear instructions make personalising the combination code the work of half a minute at most.

What with the ease of use, clear logo and no keys to lose, their box--ticking ability is matchless.

Bought two so that I could secure my work backpack. It is my locker as I'm on the move and have no permanent locker. Combination system was easy to set up and means I don't need to carry a key around. Also I will not be able to lose the key, which could ruin your day and mean damaging the lock to remove it. I have taken the precaution of using two different combinations, it seemed a bad idea to have both the same. While I realise that nothing can completely secure a backpack, having these compact little locks should discourage the opportunist thief and improve peace of mind!
