Yale Floorboard Safe

I just wanted a small safe to hold a number of documents and personal effects and the floor safe was more than adequate The build quality was better than I expected and good value for money. It was delivered next day. Due to its smallish dimensions I was able to locate it snugly and found it very simple to fit.

This product is delivered quickly and the order process is well informed. The packaging is discreet given the nature of the product.

Upon receipt of delivery, it is evident the weight of the package signifies a sense of quality and thus ensuring a level of expected reliability.

The safe is manufactured using a weighty, dense and high grade metal. It appears to be hydro dripped to ensure erosion from the elements and usage doesn’t deteriorate its condition over time.

The deep large inner sides are carpeted with a velvet layer to safely caress your possessions which is a nice touch.

The lock mechanism feels and sounds high grade, thus prevalent upon turn of the safe key to expose the bank vault like chambers.

The mount plate has enough clearance to install flush and ensure it can be installed to remain concealed, internal bolted fixtures ensure this cannot be removed once installed.

Precision to perfection is evident but then that is expected from a Yale product that is very reasonably priced.

Good product strong and sturdy I am very pleased with this safe it will do every thing I want it to. When fitting it is important to choose the site carefully to make it easy to use, cutting the floor boards is easy but to make it invisible under the carpet the edges need to be rebated. As it says on the lid take care when closing, the lid is heavy mind your fingers !!

Fits neatly under the floorboards without too much effort, robust, secure, just a bit fiddly to get to but thats returned in the security of it being well concealed. If you are a proficient DIY person then its a simple fix attached to a floorboard, I had my hanyman install it took him 30 minutes. Maybe 1 extra key would be nice but managing without it. Don't expect a large free standing safe, its compact and ideal for jewellery and documents but not a lot more so make sure you know what your going to put in it immediately and in the future and perhaps get the next size up. Overall recommended.

I Definitely highly recommend this product as it was perfect and exactly what I wanted and needed. The safe was quite easy to install and the instructions were not even needed. The safe is of a very solid construction it was heavier than expected which is a good thing. I was also really pleased with the price extremely competitive especially with the quality of the product. I was also impressed with the service and the delivery which was very quick and in good condition due to the quality of the packaging. I am Very pleased with my purchase and have already recommended it to family and friends.
