well built, slight detail difference to the one that it replaced but an adjustment of the latch plate sorted that out. In fairness the one that it replaced had been there a good few years and wasn't broken. It was only changed to get back control of who had keys for it. It was easily reversible and good value.for money. I would recommend this well built lock it came with three keys and I ordered another eight which followed on within a few days. All in all I am very happy with the product, with the cust service I recieved and the delivery time.

Keyed to Differ or Keyed Alike locks?

As standard the Legge 5642 - BS 5 Lever Sashlock (68mm, Stainless Steel) is supplied Keyed to Differ which means the lock includes a set of keys that are unique and will only open this lock. If you require multiple locks you can choose to have them all Keyed Alike, meaning that each lock can be opened using the same key.

What is Keyed to Differ?

  • Keyed to Differ is the standard way a lock is supplied.
  • Each lock is opened by its own unique key.
  • Each lock includes a unique set of keys.
  • Covered by our returns policy.

What is Keyed Alike?

  • Each key can open multiple locks - the same key could unlock your house and office.
  • Locks need to be the same brand and number of levers.
