The product itself is ok but I had them converted to key alike,when I came to fit them one worked perfectly the other two the keys had troubles turning,I contacted your office as I noticed the back plates had not been reinstated properly.They advised me what to do to rectify it.That wasn't a problem for me as being in the building trade and a city and guilds tradesmen in carpentry and joinery I've fitted and repaired many locks over the years,the problem is the bad workmanship in your company as if the locks were tested before leaving your workshop this problem would have been found and rectifyed before posting

Brilliant price and decent security. Wish the bolt was a bit wider like the union strongbolt but that’s were the price difference comes in. More than confident in the product though for what it’s being used for and its the insurance BS quality i needed with that 20mm throw. Thanks as always Safe, great products.

I bought two of these locks with matching keys to replace two old locks in my house. It was important for the keys to match to reduce the number we have to carry round.

It was a disappointment to only receive 3 keys as from the description I would have expected two for each lock - 4 in total.

Fitting should have been easier as the locks were ostensibly of identical dimensions to the old locks but some changes to the holes in the doors were required as the thickness differed a little.

The doors were old and had had a number of locks in the past making a bit of filling necessary but the outcome was good.

As they are kite marked and work reasonably smoothly, at around £15 per lock they have been a bargain.

I needed to replace the 40 year old Chubb roller-bolt sashlock on my front door with one that that had a regular latch, but sashlocks with 65mm backset are scarcer than hens teeth. After much fruitless searching I found Safe.co.uk who, unbelievably, actually sold them.

Delivery was prompt, especially given that they're made to order, and I was very pleased that it was almost a straight swap; I've given 4 stars for ease of fitting because I needed to adjust the recesses for the face and striker plates by a small amount, and the spindle was in a slightly different position.

Otherwise, 5 stars for everything else - great quality, looks smart, works perfectly, and very good value for money (again especially considering it's made to order). And now my front door doesn't open on its own volition when we've got the Yale on latch.
