Union C-Series 3J60 - 5 Detainer Horizontal Sashlock (165mm, Silver)

I bought this union 3j60-5 detainer horizontal sashlock (165mm).

It has arrived by post in short time. First time when I have got it in my hand I felt like it has to be a heavy duty products. I could fitted in quite easily, even I had to change over the latch bolt of a lock. It was quite easy to change it over. I had to take off a few screws only to get into it. It wasn't a hassle at all like with the other locks which are always falling a part and the spring is usually flying away. I fitted in this lock into a hotels main entrance door which is highly used everyday. The old lock what I have taken out was the same make and it was in for more then 10 years.

I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I was so pleased to find this lock as it was the last link in a very very extensive refurbishment of a beautiful Edwardian/Victorian townhouse in Sherborne, Dorset. When I stripped down the original front door the old fixings became evident and the new lock got me virtually in the same position,thus enabling me to use the original glass knobs.After 'piecing in' various holes made by the subsequent fitting of door furniture over the years, I was able to return the door to its former glory, and with the original door knocker, letterbox etc., and painted in black gloss it looks stunning!
