This key safe is simple but effective. Setup was a little difficult but working through the instructions a couple of times got me there. I can now easily generate timed access to it via a simple website. You do have to buy credits if you need to give remote access regularly but it’s not very expensive.

Details
The Phoenix Smart Lock Key cabinet KC0601n is manufactured with a high quality NetCode 1000 digital keypad which has the facility to provide temporary remote access via a secure web-based NetCode portal. The interior of the cabinet includes height adjustable key racks and is designed to securely store up to 42 keys. The back of the key cabinet has pre-drilled holes so that you can easily install to a solid wall with the fixing kit included.

Lock Features

The NetCode 1000 digital keypad featured on this key cabinet provides the user with complete control with various lock functions. Before programming the cabinet, you must select the most appropriate features for the application. The lock has the ability to switch between private use, public use and NetCode.

Private Use
The default application for this keypad is for private use. This mode will allow you to set a master code, sub-master code and a user code. The lock will open once a successful code has been entered.

Public Use
Change the lock for public use for applications where multiple different users need to use the cabinet. The public use mode provides a 'guest programmable pin' feature where the user can lock and then reopen the cabinet with a code of their choice each time the cabinet is used.

NetCode
The NetCode mode allows you to create time sensitive access codes remotely via a secure web-based NetCode portal to provide access to users for a specified date and time. Temporary codes, once generated, can be sent by email or text to any email account or mobile phone via the web-based portal.

Product overall is good … pretty much what was detailed on the website. So happy with the safe itself. However, the screws etc provided to secure the safe to the wall were, in my opinion, totally inappropriate for a secure safe installation. They were much too small and therefore flimsy and if used, the safe could very easily be prised off the wall with little effort. I have source a more substantial set of wall bolts as a result.

Standard Key Cabinet Installation

We offer professional installation on our complete range of Key Cabinets.

Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your key cabinet.

Your installation will include fixing the key cabinet to the wall using the fixings included with your key cabinet. The fixings are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete.

The position of your key cabinet will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes or cables within the wall.

The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the key cabinet is secure before providing a brief demonstration of your key cabinet and confirming the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

Non-standard Installation

In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

  • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
  • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
  • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
  • Road closure including necessary permits.
  • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

£55.00 Surcharge Areas

  • PH 1 - 26 (No coverage in other PH postcodes)
  • PA 1 - 19 (No coverage in other PA postcodes)
  • KA 19, 26
  • ML 11, 12

£105.00 Surcharge Areas

  • IV 01-17, 30,31,32 (No coverage in other IV postcodes)
  • AB
  • DD
  • TD
  • DG
  • KW

These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:

  • Accidental Damage
